Seeing the steeltusk warboar charge towards me, I immediately raised my hand as I tanked its charge by holding its steeltusk with both of my hands.
Once the warboar's charge was caught by me, we then wrestled with our strength. I was being pushed back because of how massive he was and how powerful he was, but I continued to push through. With gritted teeth, I applied more strength to my arm muscles and pushed the boar forward.
It took me a lot of focus and grit to push the pig forward until finally I was able to turn its head and repel its strength to another direction.
Seeing the boar crash through a tree after not being able to stop its sudden change of momentum, I heaved out deep breaths and prepared for the second round of the charge.
You might be wondering why I am here or what am I doing here. Apparently, despite me already learning my master's footwork, he told me that my body was not enough to handle the might of his swordsmanship, and so he told me to train my physical body without Ki, then so I did.
For four days, which was after I looted the Fire Monkey Den....I was then thrown back into the Caprillar Forest to train.
For four days, I trained by lifting boulders and wrestled with the heavyweights of the forest just so I could build up the necessary muscles.
Once the War Boar regained its clarity, its fiery red eyes then glared at me as it charged straight through me...this time, it seems to be using its ability which was speed and penetration. With its great speed, it charged straight through me.
I casted one look at the pig and then soon threw a stiletto at it. The stiletto was thrown casually so it was very slow, but the monster just moved to the side to dodge the incoming stiletto and continued to charge towards me with its penetration skill.
When it was about to reach me then, I soon disappeared from my previous spot and then reappeared behind the war boar, where I threw the stiletto.
Picking up the stiletto, I smiled at the war boar and then charged towards it from behind as I soon wrestled against it once again.
Right, after some inspections from my master, he gave me the artifacts that I looted from the Fire Monkey den. He gave me everything except for the Katana, he said that I should learn how to handle Flesh Eater first before I use the Katana.
One of the artifacts that I looted and is currently using right now is the Stiletto, its ability is very cool as it allows me to teleport to it at a certain distance. I think it is 25 meter radius? And as long as I have the sufficient Ki to use it...or in others' case, Mana. Then I can continuously teleport to it.
Grabbing the Pig's tusk from behind as I straddled ontop of it, I wrestled with it and shook its head just like what I did to the pighead. Then after a moment if struggle, I finally won against the battle of strength by making it charge onto boulders and as well as delivered punches to its crown, til my knuckles bled. I could feel my fist getting stronger as I destroy its steel like hide.
Once the pig was dead, I finally got off it and took a moment to catch my breath before I soon unsheathed Flesh Eater.
Once I took out Flesh Eater and activated its new enchantment, a vengeful spirit of flame then manifested and tried to devour my mind, but it was weaker than me as I easily subdued it.
Now, Flesh Eater was coated in fiery red flames. I took a moment to stare at it before I plunge its blade unto the hard hide of the boar and cut through its body parts.
The other treasure that Master had given me was the Runestone, he told me that I cannot consume it since I am unchosen, but he did tell me my sword can consume it but in exchange, an evil spirit might reside in my sword. So, I let him do so....and I finally got an enchanted sword which can shoot out flames like a flamethrower. It was very basic but powerful.
After cutting the flesh down with my flame coated sword, I then diced up the non fatty parts and stored it in a sack. I burnt some with my sword and cook it til it becomes pork jerky and once done, I then activated the enchantment on my ring.
Right, the ring that I also looted from that place was also very convenient, it has the storage ability which can store non living things and has the space of 5 cubic meters.
Had I known about it beforehand, I would have stolen a lot more treasures than a few. But what's done is done. I will go back there someday.
Quietly storing the meat inside the ring, I wondered if the ring also has preservation enchantment to prevent food from getting spoiled but since it is airtight then it must be.
Leaving the corpse of the pig to rot, I headed deeper into the forest of Caprillar to look for more foes to wrestle with, but as I headed deeper and deeper, I caught a whiff of the scent of blood then.....I discovered lots of Pighead corpses.
I narrowed my eyes at those corpses, the fat pigheads which I considered my nemesis were done in just like that. And a whole bunch of them too. I followed the trail of the corpses until I finally reached a pile of it.
Sitting by that pile, I saw a man with braided gray hair eat a meat of the pigheads. His teeth were so tough considering that it managed to tear down the flesh of the pigheads.
Narrowing my eyes, I measured his strength and by the pressure of his aura, I could only say one word.
'He's strong'
Rubbing the pearl earring in my left ear, I then changed my appearance. One of the artifact that I got has the ability to alter someone's appearance head level but never the stature, I thought that I really hit the jackpot considering that I needed the ability to change appearance. Even my Master was delighted at it, as he let me have it immediately.
Changing my appearance to a black haired person with a slick back hair style, I walked towards that person with my sword hanging by my waist. I intentionally revealed my presence by intensifying the pressure of my aura as I stepped out from the shadows.
With my Emerald green eyes, I looked around and then landed it towards the gray haired person.
Upon sensing my presence, The man then stopped munching on the monster flesh and swiftly grabbed his weapon beside him which was a spear.
With a glare, he swallowed the meat on his mouth and then took up a stance.
"Who are you?"
He asked with a scowl, whereas I just approached him with a solemn expression.
"Isn't it rude to ask for someone's name without even giving yours?"
I replied with an expression that made it look like I was offended of him. But in reality, I was actually having fun. Quite curious how strong he will be if I fight him now.
Tension rose between the two of us, and for a moment, there was silence....then after a moment, the other guy then prepared something. An attack.
Sensing danger, I also unsheathed Flesh Eater from its scabbard and took up a stance.
"Lucius. From Eldian Kingdom."
After introducing himself, he then lashed out at me and hacked his spear towards me.
Raising my sword, my mouth curled into a smile as I parried the shaft of his spear with Flesh Eater and prevented the blade from cutting me.
"Then I am Roanoke, from Archanus Empire. Nice to meet you, Lucius"
I replied as I pushed him away and performed a third rate sword style, not using my family sword style since I might get exposed. I already told him where I came from as a mark of honor, but I must not reveal my cards. I feel like this guy is also not revealing his cards too.
