Chapter 4 - Spirit Stones?!

Henry and Luna reached the courtyard of the spell master Jin.

At that time, the spell master Jin was already teaching a few young kids of the Clark family. He was directly touching the girls of the Clark family to his advantage while teaching them how to absorb the natural aura.

Luna felt disgusted after seeing how the spell master was acting like an old pervert. Henry also controlled his anger and took a step forward into the courtyard.

The spell master Jin immediately stood up in shock after seeing the casually walking Henry. But soon he sat back, remembering his status and Henry's present condition who has a deteriorated cultivation. Soon his eyes moved onto the beautiful Luna, who was holding Henry's hand.

"Henry, seems like a miracle has happened!" the spell master commented with a look of surprise.

"Yes, spell master Jin… my legs got healed like a miracle. Now I can walk freely," Henry replied with a smile.

"What's the use? All your cultivation was lost. You're not a wizard anymore. Did you come to join as my servant?" the spell master asked in an arrogant tone.

"No need, spell master. A tiger is always a tiger, even without teeth. I can become a powerful wizard again in no time," Henry replied confidently.

"Hmhh…" the spell master Jin scoffed. "Stop daydreaming. I've never seen a wizard who lived long after his cultivation broke down."

"The time will tell everything. At present, I came to ask a favor from you for the sake of our old times. Can you give me some spirit dust?" Henry asked in a polite tone.

"Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha…"

The spell master Jin began laughing loudly after hearing Henry's request. "Do you think that spirit dust is a vegetable? And what old times? In the past, you always acted like an arrogant fool. Don't you have any shame asking for spirit dust?"

"Spell master Jin, in the past, I gave you more than ten spirit stones without asking anything in return. How can you be so ungrateful? Even dogs show some loyalty after eating house salt," Henry commented with an angry look.

"You… how dare you compare me with a dog? You're the one who came begging for spirit dust!"

The spell master Jin turned his head toward Luna. "If you really want the spirit dust, I will give it to you, but in exchange, you must send your wife to work as my servant for seven days. Will you do it?"

The spell master stared at Luna from head to toe with a look of contempt. He thought Henry would do anything like a beggar to get the spirit dust. But he completely froze when he saw the changing anger on Henry's face.

"Flash…"

A small line of blood flowed out from the neck of spell master Jin. He cried out in horror as he watched Henry holding a broken sword against his neck.

"How dare you lay your eyes on my wife? You bastard! Remember my words… I'm going to kill you in one month. Count the days."

Luna hurriedly moved to stop Henry.

The spell master Jin failed to use any spell with the sword on his neck.

"Henry, you little dog… don't forget my status in this family. The patriarch won't hesitate to kill you for my sake," Jin said in a stuttering tone.

"Husband, leave him. Don't let your hands get dirty with this filthy person," Luna said in a persuading tone.

Henry slowly took down the broken sword and walked away without looking back. Luna followed him.

"You broken bastard, I'm going to see how you protect your beautiful wife with your trash cultivation!" the spell master Jin shouted loudly in anger.

Henry stopped at the gate and said, "Don't take my words lightly. I will definitely kill you in one month. I swear on my broken sword."

Henry carved the number 30 on the wooden door in a single stroke before leaving. The spell master Jin felt a bit of fear after seeing the deep stroke of the sword on his door.

Tears slowly flowed down from Luna's cheeks as she walked beside Henry.

"I knew this would happen. No one in this family is a good person," Luna said in a sobbing tone.

Henry placed his arm around her shoulder and wiped her tears with his other hand. "Don't worry about such small things. Everything will change in a few days after I get my cultivation back."

"Husband, how can you get your cultivation without spirit stones and magical treasures?" Luna asked.

"Of course, I will absorb the natural aura. It might take a few years with such slow process, but I will definitely become a powerful wizard again," Henry replied confidently.

"But can you really do it? Everyone says your cultivation got deteriorated and that you can't cultivate again," Luna asked with a doubtful look.

"My little wife, don't believe what others say. If whatever they say were real, how could I walk again normally? Trust me… all I need is a few spirit stones to restart my cultivation. Once I can use magical aura again, I know many ways to earn plenty of spirit stones," Henry explained.

"But husband, in future, will you go to the wizard academy again?" Luna asked, staring into his eyes.

"Of course. That is where I can get the desired resources and spells. To become powerful, I must enter the academy again," Henry replied.

Luna became silent after hearing his decision. Disappointment could be seen on her face.

"What happened? Why are you upset?" Henry asked with a questioning look.

"I'm afraid that you will leave me after getting into the wizard academy," Luna said, staring at the ground.

"My little wife, do you really think like that? You are my most loyal companion, the one who took care of me. Why would I leave you?" Henry asked with an amused look.

"Because I'm not a wizard like my sister. I would be a burden to you," Luna said in a sad tone.

"Hahaha… stupid girl. Never ever think like that. Even if I become the supreme sovereign magus of this world, I would never leave you. Any man would be stupid to give up on a beautiful lady like you," Henry said before pinching her cheeks with laughter.

"Stop joking…" Luna laughed with him while rubbing the tears from her cheeks.

While laughing together, they both reached their room. Just after crossing the door, Luna suddenly turned around and closed the room door.

"What are you doing?" Henry asked with a confused look.

"Usshhh…" Luna put a finger on his mouth and gestured him to be silent.

While Henry watched in confusion, she picked the oil lamp hanging on the wall. As she twisted the base lid of the lamp, a small socket appeared on its side.

She inserted her finger inside and took out three moon-colored, small marble-like stones.

"Spirit stones?!!!"
