Chapter 9 - This is my Damn HOUSE!

Clark Family… Henry Clark's House…

BANG!!!

The door burst open with a kick.

Several Clark family servants rushed inside.

Luna, who is cooking rice soup, spun around in shock.

"W-What are you doing?!"

Behind them Phillip Clark, the patriarch's arrogant son came walking with a cold look. He glanced around with a mocking smirk.

"What are you waiting for? Throw everything out," Phillip ordered in a serious tone while waving his hand.

A servant immediately grabbed a wooden chair and threw it outside.

Crash!

The onslaught followed as the servants grabbed whatever they wanted and tossed them recklessly.

Loud noise of breaking furniture and utensils filled the surroundings. Soon, more people came to watch the scene. Nobody dared to question Phillip who stood like monarch at the house entrance.

"STOP!!! Please stop!!!" Luna cried while trying to stop the servants. But they acted without any mercy.

"Phillip, what are you doing? Ask them to stop." Luna spoke loudly with eyes full of tears.

Phillip ignored her. "Where is that useless cripple? I heard he can walk now. Good… then he can walk out of the family himself."

"P-Phillip, why are you doing this? Please… this is our home…"

Phillip sneered. "Your home? You haven't paid even one spirit stone in three months. The family can't support leechers."

"According to family rules, you can only stop food grains and resources. Why are you throwing us out?" Luna questioned in a trembling tone.

Phillip burst into laughter.

"Hear that? The cripple's wife is questioning me! ME!" Phillip mocked while leaning against the door.

The servants laughed with him and continued throwing their belongings—blankets, old clothes, utensils—everything went flying outside.

"P-Please stop… please…" Luna cried helplessly, grabbing Phillip's sleeve. "At least wait until Henry comes back… Please…"

Phillip brushed her hand away harshly.

"Shut up! Just give me ONE spirit stone and I might spare this rat hole."

"I-I don't have…"

"Exactly," Phillip snapped. "Poor leechers like you should leave the family estate."

Luna fell to her knees, tears streaming, clinging to the doorway.

"Please… please don't do this…"

Phillip folded his arms, enjoying the scene.

"Cry louder. Maybe a miracle will save you."

Just then—

A deep voice echoed from behind.

"Seems like there's a lot of noise here."

Luna's head snapped around, her eyes filling with relief.

"H-Husband!!!"

Henry stood at the gate, eyes calm but radiating sharp anger. Luna ran to him and threw herself into his arms.

"Husband… they… they were throwing everything out… I tried to stop them… but they didn't listen…"

Henry held her gently, patting her back. His eyes grew colder with every word she said. He came here to see her smile… but seeing her cry helplessly…!

Henry wiped the tears from her face and slowly looked up at Phillip.

"Phillip… how dare you touch my house while I'm away?" Henry asked in a cold tone.

Phillip clicked his tongue. "Hmph! Since you haven't paid anything for three months, the family has every right to throw you out."

Henry stepped forward.

"I contributed more than 100 spirit stones to this family. Go and check the family account."

Phillip burst into mocking laughter.

"So what if you did?"

"In the past, the family supported you, trained you, and fed you. That's why you rose to heights. Even then, you STILL failed in the end. So stop acting all high…!"

Henry's eyes sharpened.

"Then what did you achieve, Phillip?"

Phillip stiffened.

Henry continued.

"Your father is the patriarch now. And what about you? Did you enter the Wizard Academy? Are you a powerful wizard? No."

Henry smirked coldly.

"You're not even eligible to clean the dust of the Wizard Academy. So stop comparing me to your lowly mind."

"You… YOU… how dare you mock me?!!!" Phillip roared, face red with rage. "Today I will kick you out of this family! I bet you don't even have spirit dust with you! Hahahaha!"

Henry tilted his head.

"Spirit dust? Is that what you want?"

He reached into his sleeve.

Phillip snorted. "You're just acting tough—"

PHAT!!!

A spirit stone smacked Phillip right on the forehead and bounced onto the floor.

The servants froze.

Phillip froze.

Even Luna gasped.

Henry's voice was calm but deadly.

"Is this what you were asking for? Now… scram."

Phillip stood there, stunned. His brain struggled to process the scene. "You… where… where did you get this?! Did you steal it?!"

Henry stepped forward with a mocking smile.

"Fool."

Phillip's face twisted in humiliation.

He clenched his fists… but seeing Henry's sharp, unyielding eyes and watching family members made him back down—

Phillip choked down his anger.

"F-Fine… just wait. I'll remember this!!!" he yelled, backing away with trembling frustration.

He picked the spirit stone and turned sharply.

"Let's go!!!"

The servants followed him out, casting fearful glances at Henry.

"STOP…" Henry commanded as he walked one step at a time while staring at the servants.

"Place everything inside as it is… not a single grain misplaced… Otherwise…" Henry stared at all the servants with the look of a beast.

All the servants turned towards Phillip.

"H-Henry, they acted on my command. It is punish…!!!" Phillip swallowed his words as a broken sword flew out and pierced deeply into the ground before servants.

"My name is Henry Clark and this is my damn HOUSE… How dare mere servants touch my place?! I don't know which dog commanded you! I will definitely kill all of you if you don't place my things as it is… Do you understand?!" Henry commanded in a loud tone.

All the family members watched in horror as Henry directly threatened the lives of servants. Cold Sweat appeared on Phillip's face. He tried to speak but now words came out.

The servants already began picking up the things with shaking legs.

Luna was watching Henry in shock! She never expected her husband to be such a dominating person. She only saw him in a cripple state with weak stature.

Phillip and family members left in a hurry without looking back. A strange fear occupied their hearts.

In the next few minutes, the servants worked tirelessly to place everything inside, including the hot dubbing soup with fire underneath.

They directly knelt before Henry after finishing. "Respected Young Master, P-Please spare our lives. Some things are broken… we couldn't set them right! P-please young master… Show mercy!"

"Please Young master, we all beg you…" All of them began pleading and kowtowing with tears.

"SCRAM!"

All ran away without looking back.

Henry then closed the door gently and turned to Luna.

She hugged him tightly again, tears soaking his chest.

"Hu… Husband… thank you… I was so scared…"

Henry stroked her hair.

"Don't cry. As long as I'm alive, no one can bully you."

His voice was soft.

But inside his chest— A fire was burning.

Phillip...
