The acidic ball landed at a huge black paw. The paw crushed the ball into pieces. The acidic liquid sizzled and released constant smoke in the air. But the black paw was unharmed. Not even its fur was corroded.
Mater walked forward as the black panther. He growled deeply.
Warlock Demonic Items were different from usual Artifacts. It grew with the user's power and rank. So even a Common Item like the Transformation Watch could become extremely powerful if Mater was high level enough.
That was the reason why he was able to stand a chance with the Ascendant from the White Seam Factory. The Ascendant had higher levels but Mater had much more powerful toys.
"That cat just transformed…" Solomon squinted his eyes.
"Holy hell! Did you see that?! Big Sister's Familiar could transform!"
"Big Sister? No one calls her that anymore. She's the Dark Knight."
