REVIEWS AND POWERSTONES PLSSS!!!!!Chapter 21: The Plan

Turles's strength wasn't something Deru could resist. When that hand touched his shoulder, Deru felt like a mountain was crushing him. Sensing Turles's power, he stared in shock at this recently-met Saiyan.

"You—"

"Deru, everything is speculation. We have no concrete evidence. Obsidian is jointly protected by the Galactic Patrol, Mercenary Union, and Commerce Guild. The arena is clearly backed by the Mercenary Union. Your strength isn't enough against these factions!"

Turles carefully analyzed the situation, finally calming Deru's emotions.

"Turles, you're right. I can't match the Mercenary Union." Dejection crossed Deru's face. But he quickly rallied: "But it's fine! Our elders can unlock clan members' latent potential, dramatically increasing battle power. I've never had my potential unlocked. When I return and receive it, my power will surge massively. Then I'll definitely take them down!"

"Your elder can unlock potential too?" This genuinely shocked Turles. He hadn't known any Namekian besides the Grand Elder possessed potential unlocking abilities. If this elder could unlock his potential at his current battle power, he'd definitely experience a massive surge!

Turles couldn't help feeling excited. Since getting the gravity chamber, he'd practically lived inside.

The chamber truly lived up to its reputation as Dragon Ball's training accelerator. After this month's training, constantly injuring himself severely, his battle power had reached 80,000.

Though incomparable to Goku's terrifying jump from 8,000 to 90,000 in six days, Turles had mentally prepared for his body's talent level. Plus, he lacked Senzu Bean assistance and didn't dare push himself to true near-death. So current results satisfied him greatly.

Now, with Deru's elder's potential unlocking, his battle power might jump directly to around 200,000. Then he wouldn't fear Obsidian's strongest warrior.

Yes—upon arriving at Obsidian, Turles had sensed the planet's most powerful being. That warrior possessed a terrifying 280,000 battle power.

With 200,000, combined with his ki mastery and special techniques developed during mental simulation training, he felt confident facing this powerhouse.

True strength wasn't achieved through training alone. It required diverse combat experiences, fighting enemies without restraint. Only then could one grow faster.

As for having Broly fight—Turles had no such plans currently. Forget Broly's extremely unstable emotions—if he lost control, nobody on this planet could subdue him. Besides, Turles didn't want to develop dependence on Broly. Broly was his final trump card.

However, Turles didn't plan confronting that warrior directly. He already had a plan forming.

After sending Kuru and Kura to Paragus, Turles, Broly, and Deru returned to the cave.

"Turles, why are we here? Though I'd love rescuing these people, if we make too much noise, we might not leave Obsidian. You said these people have deep arena connections!"

Looking at the distant cave, confusion crossed Deru's face as he questioned Turles directly.

Turles first closed his eyes, sensing. Still couldn't detect any ki signatures.

Opening his eyes, he explained: "We don't need major commotion. With our current strength, we can easily handle whoever's inside and rescue everyone. Then we'll deliver them directly to the Galactic Patrol station. Given the Patrol's public image, they can't ignore it. Even if the Mercenary Union participated, they can't say anything openly."

"Besides, maybe we can learn about your other people from these slavers!"

At that, Deru's eyes brightened immediately.

"Good!"

After agreeing, the three didn't waste words. They flew straight into the cave.

Their unrestrained intrusion naturally drew immediate attention. Footsteps sounded. Three aliens appeared before them—including the horned alien.

Turles sensed their battle power. Not weak—the weakest exceeded 5,000. The strongest was the horned alien at exactly 10,000. But for these three, naturally nothing.

"Who are you?" one alien demanded loudly.

After exchanging glances, the three attacked. Turles targeted the horned alien. Broly and Deru handled the other two.

Three figures flashed. The three aliens didn't even react, eliminated without a single scream.

After disposing of them, Deru led them quickly to the slave prison area.

Though mentally prepared, seeing the scene still made Turles uncomfortable. Though his memories contained worse horrors, they were just memories. His personality remained primarily from his previous life.

So when intelligent beings were treated like beasts, Turles still found it hard to accept.

Taking a deep breath, he nodded to Broly. They began releasing the imprisoned alien species.

A light wave flashed. The incredibly hard Katchin chains severed. Tearing off restraints, opening cages—one by one, diverse species emerged from their cells.

Finally, over one hundred beings stood before Turles. Most were youngsters of various races, many from powerful species Turles recognized from memories—clans with warriors exceeding 10,000 battle power. These slavers had bold ambitions and solid backing to provoke so many species.

Then Deru, who'd been eliminating remaining guards, approached. His face showed little joy—apparently, he'd learned nothing about other clan members.

Turles said nothing, just patted Deru's shoulder consolingly.

They couldn't relax yet. Until these people safely reached Galactic Patrol headquarters, the slavers might try eliminating all evidence.

Standing before the hundred-plus freed prisoners, Turles spoke gravely and loudly: "Everyone, you're not completely safe yet. We'll escort you to the Galactic Patrol station. Those who can fly, carry someone who can't. Quickly!"

Hearing this, panic erupted. The group grew chaotic. Seeing this, Turles had no choice but to release his ki. A thread of overwhelming pressure emanated from him.

Like encountering a natural predator—though these people couldn't sense ki, survival instinct made them feel threatened. Everyone quieted. Some even knelt, kowtowing to Turles continuously.

Seeing silence restored, Turles repeated his instructions. This time everyone obediently followed his arrangements.

Fortunately, most belonged to warrior species. Few couldn't fly.

After organizing everyone, Turles instructed Deru: "Deru, you and Broly fly at the front. You know the route. Broly will protect you. I'll follow at the rear."

Deru looked deeply at Turles before saying gravely: "Good. I understand." He turned, moving to the front.

"Whew!"

After everyone departed, Turles exhaled long and slow.

Actually, Turles's painstaking rescue effort wasn't purely altruistic. His main purpose was leaving Deru with a righteous impression. Remember—Turles was a Saiyan. Any sane alien species' first impression of Saiyans would never be positive. At minimum, they wouldn't consider Saiyans good people. Hadn't Deru immediately assumed combat stance upon seeing Turles?

Since Turles wanted Deru's elder to unlock his potential, leaving a good impression was essential. With this rescue operation, combined with Deru's personal testimony, at least that elder wouldn't refuse immediately.

Besides, Saiyans would be developing in Galactic Center going forward. Unlike the North Galaxy, the Galactic Patrol was the dominant power here. A positive public image became critically important. He didn't want to wake up someday surrounded by Galactic Patrol forces. So transforming the Saiyans' external reputation was an indispensable step. He felt Universe 6 Saiyans did this well.

He could adopt their approach—accepting Galactic Patrol or Mercenary Union missions. This satisfied Saiyans' combat passion while improving their image.

Whether Saiyans would accept this approach didn't worry Turles. Saiyans respected strength. As long as he remained strongest, Saiyan authority stayed in his hands. Plus, he controlled methods to make Saiyans stronger. No reason they'd disobey.

Though considering this was premature. Currently, Turles had only four Saiyans total including himself. They didn't even have a Saiyan planet yet. Talking about Saiyan revival and faction-building was meaningless.

"The road ahead is long and difficult," Turles sighed.

Finally, he chased after the group and departed.
