"so lets start with a little mandatory introduction"- said matheo smiling
"Your base won't probably be only one type, because people had already mixed if you know what i mean"- Matheo giggled as he said that
"only people from the times of collision had one type bases, but their kids most of the times took both types of bases from their parents, but it didn't mean these bases were stronger."-said matheo
"But, there are so called mutations of particles which can give extraordinary bases which can't really be classfied by normal means"- said matheo
Kaslan was sitting in his chair almost sleeping. Matheo kicked him weakly on his shin.
"stop sleeping, we will start in a minute"- said matheo to kaslan
Kaslan looked annoyed and stared at arc
"I knew it already, mister doctor, this i-"- Arc said
"So let's end the introduction, it's all you have to really know. Let's start the evaluation"- Kaslan said Kaslan interrupting Arc
"Ok , step on this glass looking floor "- Matheo pointed at a weird glass floor near the entrance to the room
Arc stepped on the floor as he felt a weird tingling sensation on his skin, it was a weird feeling as if something was going was waking up inside of him
"Don't worry almost all people feel the particles as they step on sensitivity and resistance test"-matheo said as he saw arc stepping on the platform
"Also this will awaken your base if you haven't awakened it yet"- matheo said
"It has this weird feeling as if there was immense pressure on my body"- Arc said with surprise
"it's normal for people without weak bases or without them"- he said
"Ok lets start the test, you might feel little bit dizzy, vomit or even pass out if your tester is a bit reckless, but don't worry i will try to test you gently"- matheo flashed a frindly smile
Kaslan grumped as he didn't like what matheo said about being gentle
Suddenly, Arc started to feel dizzy and started seeing weird translucent flame like auras on different things, he then suddenly felt his senses expanding, time seemed to slow down a bit and he had sudden rush of strenght in his body. Then a red colour flashed on the floor.
"Wow, What a strong red colour"- Matheo said with a smile
„Your main type of partcles will be phycisal particles, the most common type, but in your case it'll be pretty powerful Base, other "support" types of your base you will have to learn yourself"-matheo said with a smile
But the pressure didn't faint. It got stronger, to the point it was getting hard to breathe. The pressure on his body was so strong that he was passing out. Then it suddenly fainted.
"As i said i wont be too hard on you, so i would say that your resistance to particles is above averge, you should be happy to have such a good starting point"- matheo said with reassuring smile
"that's not really the thing that i wanted, i wanted a black Base, that's said to Give power to manipulate life"- Arc said quitely
Matheo didn't hear it and Kaslan who seemed to be sleeping in his chair, suddenly smirked and said
"colors and types of bases go from red to black on a scale of rarity, black being the rarest, so don't get too sad that you didn't get this base kid"- he seemed to bo talking to
"Ok now, I'll try to awaken your gift, it will probably be something related to your base, so it will most likely be a physical gift"-matheo said
Matheo pointed at this weird capsule that had a bed inside
"Go lay in the awakening capsule, i will calibrate it to your physical and particle parameters"-matheo said as he stepped behind the capsule and started doing something on it's control panel
As Arc stepped into the capsule, the capsule door closed, he felt a bit scared. Then matheo gave him thumbs up thru the glass window.
He suddenly felt a huge strain on his particle base
"With his base it will probalby take a few minutes before he can awaken his gift, so be patient child-beater"- matheo said with a devious smile
"That's only a job, i don't enjoy it, it's nescessary to test them in practical aspect too"- Kaslan said indifferent
"Ok, ok i know"- matheo said
15 minutes later
'Hmm, it's taking too long, i will turn up fatigue modul more"-Matheo said puzzled
another 15 minutes later
"Ok, i don't think he will manage to awaken his gift with just this or he might not have one, i will end it"-- Mathe said as he walked towards the capsule
The capsule is supposed to stimulate stress and trauma in human body to mimick situation of life and death struggle, because that's how gifts are supposed to be awakened
As he turned the capsule off he said "what a pity"
Arc was feeling very fatigued as he got out of the pod
"come here i will rejuvenate you"- matheo said as green particles flew towards arc
Arc felt very fresh and warm as if his blood was getting warmer.
"Now, the theoretical part of the test is over and we will begin the practical part"-matheo said and kaslan stood up from his chair
"let's do a quick test "-kaslan said
"you have to touch my belly, if you manage to do so, i will personally give you recomendation to our kingdom's warriors"-kaslan said with a smile
"and i won't be using my base either"- he said
"It means that if you want to become a warrior you won't have to take the test for trainee and pay for taking the test"- he said
"If you don't do it, like 156 kids before you then nothing will really happen except me being even more bored than i am now"-kaslan said with a sigh
they walked to a big ring-like square
"let's start"-kaslan said
"wait can i use my base ?"- arc asked
"of course, you can, you know how"-kaslan said
The "fight" started, Arc tried to activate his base by trying to bring back this feeling of having his body filled with particles. He failed, he wasn't able to feel it.
"Boy, you would have to be a genius to active your base without any training, so quit trying and come at me!"- kaslan said as he saw arc try
Arc came at kaslan trying to punch him at the belly, but kaslan swiftly dodged to the side and with his leg he made arc fall down to the ground in a pathetic manner.
"That's not how you will be able to do it, you should try to do something that i wouldn't be able to predict, think kid"- kaslan said
"He just keeps bullying kids, that's a bit too much in my opinion but i was not the person who thought it would be a great idea for a warrior to fight a frail teen"- matheo said with a sigh
Arc tried few more times to touch his belly, but every time he ended up on the ground
He then thought out an interesting idea
"What if i use my shoes as a weapon, to distract him"- Arc thought
Arc took of his shoes tied Their shoelaces to create this sort of nunchaks.
"that's an interesting idea, very creative but What do you want to do with it really, it's useless"- Kaslan said while laughing
Arc rushed at him swinging his "weapon". He blocked almost all of his shoe strikes. Arc then tried to tie his shoelaces over his arm and tie it to his back and Kaslan let him do it.
"Ok i will play with you only with one arm, for your struggle" - Kaslan said
Arc then felt weird he saw his ring shining faintly. He felt red particles coming into his Base from the ring and he would be able to activate his Base for just a quick moment, but he felt like it was enough to accomplish his task.
He got close to him, attacked his belly few times, then he activated it. He felt as if in that moment he could run as fast as a car, lift a giant boulder, he felt POWER. He moved very fast to kaslan's belly he was almost touching it when he suddenly almost teleported behind him and patted on his shoulder.
"I really didn't expect you to be able to almost do it, but i lied to you, i've became a regular warrior just a year Ago, im not high enough in hierarchy recommend you"- Kaslan said with a sigh
"SO you lied to me, why did i even try "-Arc screamed
"What can i say, i have to motivate kids like you somehow, so that you try hard on practical test"- Kaslan said while scratching his head
"Ok, that will be the end of the evaluation test for you"- Matheo interrupted
"We can't really show you your results, they will be sent to your house, when it's ready"- Matheo said
"Goodbye, mister Arceus"- Matheo said with a smile
"Sorry, kid"- Kaslan said
