Chapter 291 - Lady Luck Is On Aaron's Side

Tony and Reed looked extremely anxious.

After greeting the group, Tony quickly said, "Although I'd love to throw a fantastic party to welcome you, the situation is critical right now, and we don't have much time to waste."

He subconsciously glanced at Aaron, who was subtly positioned in the center, and the beautiful women gathered around him, each with their own charm.

A hint of envy flashed through his heart but that thought lasted only a moment.

Tony shrugged and said, "Stephen should have told you that we've run into a bit of trouble."

Reed took over the conversation, "To be precise, it's a huge problem."

"We need to immediately conduct a sweeping search of New York to gather all the Darkhold pages, especially the Montesi Formula and the Vampire chapter recorded within."

"Of course, the other pages of the book must also be found quickly. If they fall into the hands of those with ulterior motives, they could cause major trouble."

The others didn't know much about the Darkhold but Aaron knew very well that this thing was the Anchor Point left behind by Chthon.

The Black magic within the Darkhold contains the aura of Chthon's power. Once someone obtains it, they could become Chthon's pawn. In severe cases, it could even become the medium Chthon uses to descend upon reality.

Even if Chthon wasn't focused on this area, the Black magic recorded in the Darkhold alone would be enough to trigger a severe crisis.

In some Universes, Stephen even took the Darkhold to challenge Thanos, who possessed multiple Infinity Stones and caused the destruction of multiple Parallel Universes.

This shows just how terrifying the Darkhold is.

"Guys, I need your help. All the Vampires in New York have gone crazy."

"They are searching everywhere for the Vampire chapter, and we must secure it before they do, or this entire world will be doomed."

Vampires who do not fear the day...

Even if the Eternal Night is broken, these Vampires, who can be called the most perfect creatures, could still dominate the globe and turn Earth, or even this Universe, into a Vampire Universe.

And Black Panther next to them was neither the first nor the last Superhero to become a Vampire.

Hearing this, Luna subconsciously looked at Aaron.

Including Magik and Doreen, everyone waited for Aaron to make a decision.

Wolverine and Iron Fist... they didn't have the right to decide.

Aaron pondered for a moment before slowly nodding.

He was very interested in this Black magic.

He wondered what abilities he might gain from devouring the Darkhold.

Seeing this, Reed breathed a sigh of relief.

Although they had learned of Aaron and the others' existence from that terrible broadcaster, they were still doubtful whether Aaron and his companions would be willing to help them.

Moreover, Galacta had stated outright that Aaron might be the key to ending this event. Therefore, Tony and Reed had come together to demonstrate their sincerity.

Now, it seemed the situation was quite good?

They just didn't know what capabilities Aaron, praised by the mysterious broadcaster, possessed.

Reed and Tony exchanged glances.

"In that case, let's immediately return to Stark Tower."

"We can use the Time Machine to locate and search for the lost Darkhold chapters..."

"That's too troublesome." Aaron shook his head.

Before Tony could reply, he pointed a finger. A sudden gust of wind swept through the normally calm New York.

Reed frowned.

Was Aaron's Superpower Control over Wind? That was a decent ability.

Tony asked doubtfully, "Did you do that? Are you planning a massive cleaning for New York?"

Aaron raised an eyebrow. "The wind will bring back what I want. Unless someone else has already picked it up."

Tony and Reed's lips twitched.

Reed stared at the wind for a long time but still couldn't figure out what was happening.

Tony couldn't help but ask, "Did you install some kind of advanced tracker on the wind?"

Aaron shook his head.

"Then how are you making the wind bring the Darkhold?"

Aaron said earnestly, "Perhaps Lady Luck is on my side tonight."

Tony felt this was utterly ridiculous.

Why didn't he just say Lady Luck was in his bed tonight?

Reed said tactfully, "Alright, perhaps we should head to the Baxter Building immediately."

"While searching for the Darkhold, we can perform the final debug on the Time Machine to terminate this crisis."

Aaron was not opposed to this.

But before that...

Aaron looked at Doreen. "Let's rescue the Squirrel Goddess first, then discuss other matters."

Hearing this, Doreen immediately started smiling happily.

Seeing this, although Tony and Reed were worried that the Darkhold might be snatched by Dracula, they could only prioritize rescuing the Squirrel Goddess for now.

After all, they knew that the horn on the Squirrel Goddess's head could kill Dracula. It could also break through Dracula's outer magic barrier. Therefore, the Squirrel Goddess must be saved.

The two immediately notified others to assist Stephen in searching for the Darkhold.

"What should we do next?" Tony looked at Aaron, waiting to observe Aaron's methods.

However, Aaron waved his hand again, and the space where everyone stood shifted, instantly transporting them from Doreen's home to a plaza located at the other end of Central Park.

The enormous Ratatoskr was imprisoned in the center of the plaza by iron chains and magic.

Surrounding the area, a large group of Vampires stood ready for battle.

When they saw Aaron and the others arrive, the Vampires surged forward like Zombies.

Meanwhile, atop a nearby high tower, a man wearing white battle armor, a white cloak, and whose eyes shone with white light, looked down upon the Central Plaza.

He was the human avatar of Khonshu, the Moon God—Moon Knight.

Moon Knight glanced at Aaron and the others, then looked toward Ratatoskr.

A page of the Darkhold was located there.

It was the very page that recorded the Montesi Formula, the spell of extermination.

Moon Knight leapt down, intending to seize the Montesi Formula first while the Vampires were distracted.

"Now we're in big trouble. There are at least several thousand Vampires here, and we..."

Tony spread his hands, charging his repulsor rays but Aaron gestured for him to stop.

As Tony wondered why, the first row of Vampires at the very front suddenly slipped, falling to the ground with a splash.

The Vampires behind them also inexplicably failed to stop, tripping over each other and falling.

Some Vampires even swung their sharp claws, but as they fell, they struck their own kind with heavy blows, either piercing chests or tearing through necks. Some were even impaled through the head, perishing on the spot.

The moment the Vampires landed, either their legs twisted, breaking as they fell to the ground, or they stepped into a pit that had appeared out of nowhere and stumbled.

Or they tripped over their own feet, falling flat on level ground.

Or a large pile of sharp screws, heavy objects, buses, or even other Vampires flew from the distant sky, clattering down and crushing them to the ground.

In any case, each death was more tragic and more bizarre than the last.
