Chapter 292 - Aaron is a Father?

Everyone watched the vampires in a daze.

What kind of operation was this?

Tonight's Vampires... seemed utterly foolish.

"Hiss... Could they have inhaled that poisoned blood?" Tony speculated.

He knew that the United States was the world's largest producer of poisoned blood.

Could it be that these toxins mutated, and after the Vampires drank them heavily, their brains went haywire?

Reed subconsciously looked at Aaron, the words Aaron had just spoken echoing in his mind.

Lady Luck?

No way, buddy, you didn't actually sleep with Lady Luck, did you?

Or...

Reed whispered, "Are you the lover of the Goddess of Calamity?"

"If there really is a Goddess of Calamity, I wouldn't mind having another lover." Aaron's expression was calm.

Reed's eyebrows twitched.

So... it could only be the Goddess of Luck?

They hadn't even lifted a finger and these Vampires were already returning to the God of Death for various reasons.

Among the thousands of Vampires, the furthest only ran a hundred steps or so before frustratingly conceding defeat.

Their deaths were not just bizarre, but increasingly bizarre. They staged a real-life Final Destination for everyone present.

"I never thought a battle could be so easy. Could they be extras hired by someone?" Tony lowered his hands.

The battle was over.

MVP: Vampires!

They killed the game, successfully wiping themselves out.

Magik shook her head. "If they were extras, they must be the most dedicated extras. Even Hollywood stars would have to kneel before them."

She took a step forward and kicked an unlucky fellow's head back into the garbage mountain.

Piles of Vampires were buried by various debris swept up by the storm, forming a magnificent garbage mountain.

Coincidentally, the garbage mountain just happened to clear a path for everyone, allowing Aaron and the others to pass through smoothly.

Luna, hiding behind Aaron, popped out half her head, forcing herself not to look at the garbage mountain, and said uncertainly, "By the way, wasn't there someone who went in before us just now?"

"That was Moon Knight. Did he also kick the bucket?"

Tony's expression changed drastically, and he quickly flew into the sky towards the plaza.

"Let's go."

Aaron was unhurried, not at all worried that Moon Knight would snatch what he wanted.

Everyone followed the passage into the plaza and then saw Tony moving a heavy dump truck.

"Guys, give me a hand, this thing is too heavy."

Reed was stunned. "Is this a dump truck? How is there one here?"

Tony helplessly said, "Who knows how New York still has such a huge thing?"

At this moment, everyone realized that this fully loaded dump truck had just crashed a person into the wall. There were two legs flailing on the cracked wall.

Looking closely, it was white pants.

Who else could it be but Moon Knight?

After they laboriously moved the dump truck away, the disheveled Moon Knight struggled, crawling like a worm.

As the moonlight shone down, his injuries quickly healed.

Soon, Moon Knight returned to normal.

He struck a pose, standing proudly like a knight, exuding an imposing aura just by standing there, as if the worm from moments ago wasn't him.

Aaron's expression was unreadable.

"Watch out!"

Luna seemed to see something and warned.

Moon Knight nodded slightly, casting his gaze over. Before he could react, a large iron hammer was blown onto his head, smashing into his back with a thud.

Moon Knight stood up and fell down again.

Aaron shook his head. "Showing off gets you struck by lightning."

The probability manipulation ability is truly abnormal.

Without even lifting a finger, enemies or those who try to show off in front of him fall one after another.

It's basically the so-called Plot Armor.

Tony and Reed were stunned by Moon Knight's predicament. They had originally wanted to lend a hand, but seeing his miserable state, they immediately hesitated.

Would touching Moon Knight infect them with something dirty?

They didn't want to be hit by falling objects.

The two looked up at the night sky, empty except for a crescent moon.

Aaron ignored them.

With a raise of his hand, the magical iron chains binding Ratatoskr dimmed and then shattered into dust.

The previously sickly Ratatoskr landed steadily on the ground after the chains disappeared, then scampered on all fours, cheering and running towards everyone.

Doreen happily went to meet her. "Hi, Ratatoskr, we..."

As a figure flashed by, Ratatoskr darted past Doreen, stopping agilely in front of Aaron.

She slightly bent her front legs, lowered her head, and a clear, mature female voice rang out.

"Father."

"Ah?!!!"

Ratatoskr kept rubbing against Aaron.

Everyone, including Aaron, was startled by her words.

What the heck is 'Father'?

One is human, one is a squirrel.

Everyone was shocked, as if their worldview had been refreshed.

Aaron reacted. He now wielded the power of the World Tree, which naturally meant he was equivalent to the World Tree itself.

Similarly, he could also control the power of the World Tree in this Universe.

In a sense, he was indeed Ratatoskr's father.

But...

Aaron frowned. "Don't call me father, call me Master."

"Yes, Master."

Ratatoskr was incredibly cheerful, constantly trying to please Aaron and sniffing the special aura on Aaron.

It smells wonderful.

Ratatoskr felt happier, more satisfied, and safer than ever before.

"Master, those Vampires bullied me."

Ratatoskr holds grudges. Her cool, mature voice carried a hint of a sob and grievance.

"They clearly knew I was your daughter..."

"You are a pet." Aaron corrected her.

Fortunately, Ratatoskr is female. Otherwise, if a male Ratatoskr with a magnetic, deep voice pestered him calling him 'Daddy' and 'Master', he would rather slap them dead.

"Okay. They clearly knew you were my Master, yet they still ambushed me and locked me up here."

"I even told them my Master was the World Tree, but they were unmoved and said that once they succeeded, they would immediately cut the World Tree down."

"Master, you must avenge me."

Ratatoskr kept rubbing against Aaron, looking aggrieved.

Aaron rolled his eyes.

As expected, she was indeed that squirrel who loved to sow discord.

Doreen, standing nearby, stared wide-eyed at Ratatoskr, as if seeing her for the first time.

Was this still her simple and honest friend?

She was so anxious, yet Ratatoskr ignored her and ran into Aaron's arms instead.

That was... too naughty.
