"Okay. I got this. I totally got this. Totally and completely got this." On the rooftops of the Ashina Kingdom, was a young man with black hair and white underneath it tied up in a bun. Housing bright red eyes with countless bandaids on his arms, even one on his nose. He wore a grey shirt with a dark blue jacket on top, black shorts, and was now tightening up red roller blades on his feet. Matsumi Ryokō looked onward to the ledge of the building he was on, his eyes focused on the building in front, focused on the gap between them, focused on the jump. The space was around Fifteen feet in length, he'd been thinking about this forever now. "Okay, okay, okay, okay. I'm ready! I'm so ready! Most ready I've ever been. First, jump the gap flawlessly! Then, grind on the edge of the building while switching sides! Get off and jump off the ramp at the other end with a backflip! While we're in the air, we'll finish with a triple helix flip!" Matsumi balanced himself on the roller blades, breathing in and out a few times to hype himself up. He wiggled his arms a bit to get rid of any remaining nerves and started to move forward. Picking up more and more speed with each stride. Lowering himself slightly, he waited until the very last second possible to push off the ground and soar into the air. Matsumi didn't even think of looking down even for a second. His legs positioned forward, ready to land at all times. He got closer and closer to the other building, but then he started doubting himself. "I'm going to make it! Am I gonna make it? I'm not gonna make it! I'm not making it! Oh sh-!" But, thankfully, he just barely made the jump. It looked clumsy but his landing after that jump was more than acceptable. "Haha! That was awesome! Okay, next!" He kept skating forward, vaulting over a vent on the roof before jumping on to the very ledge of the building to grind on it. Jumping every time he switched sides on it, adding some flourish every time. Everything was going to plan. "Next!"
Matsumi balanced himself on it almost perfectly, having to move his arms in circles to keep it balanced though. Quickly jumping down to skate on the rooftop before dashing to the ramp he had placed beforehand. Going up awesomely! While in the air flipping backwards to complete his plan. "Perfect! Now do a triple helix flip! Wait...a what..?" Truthfully, Matsumi didn't really know how to even pull something like that off. He was just making things up as he went. He still tried to flip sideways but didn't have nearly enough time as his face fell flat on the roof. "Ouch!" He yelled out in pain from the roof, slowly sitting up to hold his nose, which was now bleeding a little, as well as his elbows. "That...was still AWESOME! I have to do that again!" But suddenly remembered something more important. "Oh no!" Quickly reaching into his pocket to pull out a crumbled up letter. "Okay, I can still read it. It's ok. I should get going." He wiped his nose with his thumb while putting the letter back in his pocket. Trying to stand and nearly falling again from the roller blades losing balance for a second. Stretching his arms out to maintain a stable center of gravity he stopped another fall. "Now...how do I get down?"
"Maybe." Matsumi rolled over to the ledge again and looked down, looking for some way to go down but especially in style. "Score!" There was a fire escape ladder on the side of the building, and without so much of a second thought, Matsumi vaulted over the ledge and down to the fire escape. Having his roller blades grind on the railing, jumping down and turning his body to grab the bottom of the railing to swing himself down. He repeated these feats of acrobatics relatively easily, all the way until he made it 10 feet from the ground. Matsumi then decided to jump down with a front flip, landing on his roller blades and skidding to a stop. He pulled out the letter again to read it. "Okay, it doesn't seem to bad." Now that he was on the ground level, he skated to the streets. As he needed to buy some items for a favor.
