Chapter 10 - Chapter 7: The God of Order – Soul Separation

Pan Gu listened quietly to everything, his expression complex. He did not dwell on why he had been unaware, but in that moment, he saw a deeper truth—the God of Order had requested the recruitment of new deities not out of managerial incompetence, but because he had long foreseen that this rigid system needed new variables.

"Thank you for letting me know the truth of this world," Pan Gu spoke slowly, his voice steady but carrying a barely perceptible tremor, "and for making me realize my negligence as a ruler. Thank you."

"Is there anything we can do?" the brother stepped forward and asked earnestly.

Pan Gu shook his head: "Before your souls fully merge with the knowledge and power of the divine form, there is no need to rush. Why not follow your eldest brother and see what you can learn from him?" He gazed into the distance and murmured, "He's probably in his room right now, reading or listening to music. I need to go out for some fresh air."

As his words faded, Pan Gu's figure gradually dissipated.

The siblings arrived at the door of the God of Order's room. The door was not fully closed, and soft music drifted from inside.

"Brother, may we join you?" the brother called into the room.

There was no response.

Pushing the door open, they saw the God of Order lying quietly on the bed, motionless, unresponsive no matter how they called out to him.

"Could it be… soul separation?" the sister suddenly whispered.

"Right, it must be," the brother forced himself to stay calm.

They gently closed the door and waited outside. Time passed, the music continued to play, but there was no movement from inside the room.

"Could Big Brother's soul have gone to the human world or hell?" the sister couldn't help but ask.

"Very likely, but what if it hasn't?"

"The music is still on, and he's just lying there like this—it doesn't make sense."

The brother pondered for a moment: "There is so much knowledge and power in this world that we don't understand, and our souls have not yet fully merged… We're probably overthinking it."

With unsettled hearts, they turned to leave. Just then—

"Who asked you to close the door?" a familiar voice suddenly came from behind them, though no one was visible. "Hurry and open it for me—I can't return like this!"

The siblings quickly pushed the door open and saw the God of Order's originally still body slowly sit up.

Rubbing his temples, the God of Order glanced at the still-playing music: "Oh, the music's still on," he said offhandedly. He then looked up at the siblings and asked calmly, "What did you need me for?"

The brother took a deep breath and looked seriously at the God of Order:

"Big Brother, please teach us—how does one separate their soul?"
