Ash walked aimlessly holding his head memories flashing in his mind
"I've been so much weaker lately,these emotions have been creeping on me like a assassin waiting to kill it's target" ash thought sat on a piece of rubble rubbing his eyes his head felt like there was blood running towards it
"Ah,this hurts" ash said then he started reminiscing about everything
"Everything I have done to get here" he thought "I've killed I've betrayed I've lied and almost died for this..." by the time he had finished his sentence He found himself standing in the middle of an empty road "did I talk myself all away over here?" he wondered.
It started pouring rain soaking his hair as he stared at the floor
"I can't improve...I haven't been able to do anything" as much as he hadn't wanted to admit it he really hadn't done anything important the entire time beside get his butt kicked every fight "I'm weak...and I've just been to stubborn to realize it" he muttered his breath catching on his words
He looked at his hands and saw he was shivering.
"Dang it"
He looked ahead and saw the road it looked like it stretched on for miles with no end then he slowly started moving one foot after the other the feeling of dread engulfed him as he stopped "wait....the others" he turned around
And ran and ran and ran.
Aurelia looked up at the sky "this is pointless,I just wanted to live my life not live up to my families expectations" she thought "but they'd disown me if I didn't"
"This is why I don't like being alone with my thoughts" she said out loud
Then she decided to check somewhere else "even if we get out the games we still have to deal with kings and-and the pressure" she felt the spot where her heart was and made a half smile.
While seris tapped her foot nervously against the pavement in the hideout
"Ok they're taking too long" she was going to go out there but a hand grabbed her the read haired girl "trust me girl if you go out there you will die" the girl said then pulled seris back.
"They're my friends I can't leave them" she walked out
Then she spawned a broom and flew on it while Aurelia had just been walking by when she saw "noah....." she muttered he was badly beaten like critical condition
Yorozu was standing over him "didn't last long don't you think" he grinned
Aurelia rushed at Yorozu but actually I stead of attacking she grabbed Noah's arm and ran "yeah I'm not fighting him" she said before fully picking noah up then Yorozu tried to chase them but sand blocked his path and when he looked up he saw natsuki on building with his arms crossed before natsuki walked away and the same disappeared.
Aurelia placed noah on the floor once she realized they were safe.
Riyo kept running around "Divine lilly"he thought to himself.
"Frick my arm" shin said as he finally escaped he breathed heavily trying to make sense of what the girl said "Divine lilly?" He thought but nothing came to mind he just,was useless "I need help man,I should've never gone by myself" he came to the conclusion.
Ash had been running past when he caught someone in his peripheral vision
And he turned his head to see Aurelia and Noah "g-guys" she looked at him
Her eyes dull expression unreadable "we need to find someone to help him"
She said calmly "that guys a monster in human skin a demon,I need to kill" she said standing up.
"Are you crazy you'll die" ash told her "and....don't tell me your scared?" She grinned "no!...I just don't want to die ok" He tried to get his point through but she wouldn't listen "'I'm not doing this because I'm upset I'm doing this because I have a point to prove" she said before she disappeared into the wind.
"Frick why Aurelia why" he thought Before his eyes landed back on noah.
Seris was still in the sky looking for them "where did you guys go?" she said,her tone shaky.
"I will find you"
Aurelia said to herself as she perched on the edge of a building.
Ash Stood up "Lumina send your light to seris,let her know where noah is I'm going to find yorozu" ash said walking off.
"There's not a single bone in my body that's confident enough to fight him but I know I can buy them some time.....I hope" ash knew it was just wishful thinking but wishful thinking was better no thinking then he found yorozu grabbing food out the gas station "oh hey" yorozu said with his mouth stuffed.
Ash spawned his blade "his attacks are overwhelming his speed is overwhelming his presence is overwhelming his reaction time is overwhelming"
Ash thought "my chance of winning...is zero" he finished his thought as he ran at yorozu but yorozu just shot a wind slice at him cutting his making him drop his sword "you clearly weren't thinking that all the way through" yorozu said.
"I'll kill you" ash said but his breath kept catching on his words
The rain was soaking his clothes waying him down "listen I can't kill you yet so aegis decided instead of killing you let's break you" he said then he threw a weird cube and it trapped ash "WHATS GOING ON!!" Ash yelled.
"I combined some of my shards to make that" yorozu said before leaving
And in the cube was purple and it was playing memories and words kept repeating "failure,loser,clown,you should've died in that temple,all you down is slow people down" the word kept replaying and it wouldn't stop
Then someone walked in the cube "I'm a friend of yorozu and I'm going to have fun with you" the guy had no hair and a mask that only showed one eye and he had an apron with blood on it and brown boots with brown pants and no shirt on and he was a bit chubby but most of it was muscle.
"Ahahahahahahhah!!!!!" he laughed maniacally.
