Rayo returned home and went to sleep. In the morning, he went to the forest again. Upon arrival, he found the man meditating. The man had blue eyes and blond hair, a huge, muscular body, and clear signs of battles on his body.
Rayo remained silently observing the man. After some time, he sat beside him and mimicked his posture to alleviate his boredom, until he almost fell asleep in that position. He discovered that this contemplation was rather tedious, so he stood up, took his wooden sword, and began striking with it while counting 1, 2, 3, 4…
This continued until the man stood up and began watching Rayo for a moment. Rayo noticed him and approached him.
Rayo: "Hello, uncle."
Man: "Hello, youngster." The man paused for a moment, then added:
"Aren't you afraid I might hurt you?"
Rayo, innocently: "Well… not really, because I don't sense any killing ki from you."
Man, surprised: "Do you know what ki is?"
Rayo: "Yes, I read about it in a book."
The man looked at Rayo intently, his expression a mixture of admiration, surprise, and questioning, realizing that he was no ordinary child. Natural genius
Rayo said, "May I ask you something, sir?"
The man smiled and said, "Of course, and you can also call me Rock."
Rayo asked, "Would you accept me as your disciple?"
Rock replied, "Huh?!"
Rayo asked, "What's wrong, Mr. Rock?"
Rock said, "Nothing, but why this sudden request?"
Rayo said, "You seem strong, so I'm asking you."
Rock asked, "And how do you know I'm strong?"
Rayo replied, "Your aura."
Despite Rock's cold expression, he was shocked by the answer because very few can perceive auras.
Rock exclaimed, "W-what? How?!"
Rayo explained, "What do you mean, Mr. Rock? Simply put, your aura concentration is very high, which means you are extremely strong."
Rock said, "Interesting."
Rayo asked, "So, will you accept me as your disciple?"
Rock paused for a moment, then turned and started walking, saying, "Okay, fine. Follow me."
Rock: "I'll teach you, but there's a price." Rayo: "What is it?" Rock: "You join my crew at 16. Deal?" Rayo: "Yes."
Then, a star was tattooed on Rayo and Rock's arms.
Rock, before Rayo could get scared: "Don't be alarmed. It's just a kind of divine bond so that neither of us will break our contract with the other."
Rayo, after understanding: "Ah, I know. I've read about it."
Rock: "Shall we go now?"
Rayo: "Of course we're going."
