The Next Day
Angy:
I didn't feel like going to the Occult Research Club or even school, since Rias would probably still be angry. And I was supposed to prove I was strong, but last night I had a problem: seeing that scene. I know I saw it in the anime, but the problem is that it felt like real life. Thanks to the adrenaline rush, it didn't affect me too much, but without it, I'd be dead because my body wouldn't react, which is exactly what happened.
Well, I think it's best to go for a walk around the city. I'm supposed to meet up with Asia, and I'm supposed to have a fight with Reynare. I know this day is going to be a long one since Asia is going to be kidnapped and they're going to try to take her Sacred Gear, and I won't allow it. She's a good person and doesn't deserve what she's going through.
Elsewhere.
Asia:
At this moment, she had escaped from where she was because she realized she was with bad people. And all she wanted was to find Angelica to apologize for what had happened yesterday, and besides, she might never see her again, and it was because of her power that they wanted to take it away from her. But before leaving, she wanted to say goodbye and know that she still had a friend.
"She's the first friend I ever made. Please, God, give me one last chance to say goodbye to her and thank her for helping me the other day, because the girl is very kind, and I just hope she doesn't hate me."
She continued walking through the city, and in the distance, she could see her. Angelica was overjoyed and, without hesitation, ran towards her.
Angy:
Just when I least expected it, someone grabbed my hand, and I thought it was going to be some pervert and I was about to slap them, but I was surprised to find Asia there. She was happy to see me again, and all I did was hug her while stroking her head.
"I see you're alright, Asia. Tell me, how did you escape the fallen angels? They're probably looking for you to take you back with them."
"I wasn't going to allow that, though. I had to prove I was a good Draig wielder."
Asia was pleased to see her friend wasn't upset, and returned the hug, changing the subject.
"Don't worry, Angelica. Do you think it would be a good time to go out and have some fun? I hardly know the city, and your help would be really useful."
She said this with a pleasant smile, never taking her eyes off Angelica.
Angy:
I wasn't going to refuse to go for a walk with her, especially since I'd skipped class and was going to spend it with my friend Asia. So I just took her hand and led her to a place she'd like, just like in the anime. It was to get her some hamburgers, and I was going to laugh at her because she wouldn't know how to eat them.
And as expected, she didn't know how, so I explained it to her.
"Okay, Asia, you hold it like this and just put it in your mouth, but be careful because it has condiments, and you might get a mustache of mustard or ketchup."
When I saw her trying, and since it was her first time, she ended up with a mustache made of both condiments, and I just laughed at her.
Asia:
She was a little embarrassed because her friend was making fun of her, but she put that aside since Angy took a picture of her and, with teary eyes, said,
"Don't show this to anyone, Angelica, it's embarrassing for me."
She felt her friend's hand gently caress her, and she stopped being nervous and a smile formed on her face since it was the first time she had gone out with a friend and she was having fun.
Angy:
I had to save these pictures, just like I have one of the members of the occult club, in case I ever return to my world. I'll know I was in another dimension and had a great time, although I doubt it'll stay on my phone, so I just cheered Asia up.
Well, I think it's time to go to the video game room. You'll have fun there too, Asia, since when I'm bored I always go there to play some games, and I suppose you'd like to as well.
After that, a thought came to me: playing League of Legends with Asia, and if we lost a lot, would she get angry, or would it be different since when she eliminated the enemy she would apologize in the chat? Which made me laugh since I thought she was capable of doing that.
And as I said, we went to have fun at the video game room, and I managed to get two keychains from a machine, so I gave the other one to Asia and kept the other one for myself, but it didn't all end there, because mysteriously I saw a plushie that looked somewhat like Goku, and I definitely ran to try to get it.
Hours later.
Both girls were sitting on a bench, and in front of them was a fountain. People were gathered around, resting. Angy was calmly eating an ice cream while glancing at her friend, who was happy. This was to be expected, since the blonde had never had a friend and was always used for her power. Besides, she was labeled a witch for having helped a demon in the past, which is why she was expelled from the church. And since Angelica hated when people were looked down upon or used for personal gain, this made her angry, and she defended those people. This was to be expected.
Angy:
I finished eating my ice cream and noticed Asia was shedding some tears, and I thought I had done something wrong. So I just got a little flustered and clasped my hands together, saying,
"I'm sorry, Asia, for making you feel bad. Did I buy a flavor you don't like? If so, I can go get another one."
I didn't know what to do since I didn't want to see her cry, and I was sure people passing by would think I had done something wrong. I was about to go buy another ice cream, but Asia grabbed my hand.
Asia:
This day had been perfect for her, and she didn't want it to end because she had a wonderful time with Angelica. She knew it wouldn't happen again, and that's why sadness washed over her, as this would be the last day she would see her friend.
When she saw that Angelica was worried and about to leave, she simply took her hand, saying,
"It's not that, Angelica. It's just that today was a fun day for me, and I hope we can hang out again because I was really happy to be with you."
She had to lie because she didn't want to break the bad news that her Sacred Gear would be taken away that night.
Angy knew very well that she was saying goodbye and only hoped Reynare would appear so she could beat her up. She wouldn't let them take her friend, and if she had to change history, she would, because now she had one desire: to protect her friend.
And as expected, the fallen angel appeared nearby and was initially surprised to see that Angelica was still alive. She was sure she had been reincarnated as a demon, and if her superior found out, she would end up in serious trouble. That was why she also had to eliminate her.
Angy:
I just stood in front of Asia and wouldn't let them hurt her, much less take her away, not while I was there.
"Look, you perverted woman who said she fell in love with me, I know you're planning to take Asia, but I won't let you. I'll pluck out those ugly fallen angel feathers of yours and then cook you up to eat. Although I don't think anyone would eat your flesh since it's so rotten."
I wanted to make her angry because when someone loses their temper, it's easy to beat them in a fight, and besides, I already had a strategy.
Reynare:
From what she'd heard, Angelica was furious and ready to turn that demon to ashes to teach her a lesson. So she just crossed her arms, imagining several scenes where she eliminated Angelica and Angelica begged for forgiveness.
"Well, I see you didn't learn your lesson last time, even though I had fun with you that day. But unfortunately, you had a Sacred Gear, and I had to eliminate you. If you hadn't, maybe I would have gone out with you."
She said this because a maid would have been useful, since the ones she had were a real nuisance.
Angy:
I just summoned the gauntlet while I charged up some energy to fight her. I knew she was going to be a tough enemy, and besides, I don't have much combat experience yet, but I knew I'd win. Plus, I have to protect my friend Asia.
"Well, I think I'll give you a beating this time. I need to teach you some manners, and I won't let you hurt Asia. She's my friend and innocent in your dirty plans."
I said that while pointing at her.
Asia was happy that someone cared about her and was about to hug her friend, ready to fight alongside her, but she was surprised when a fallen angel grabbed her and knocked her out with a single blow.
Angy noticed this and turned to strike back, but it didn't end there. A blonde girl the same height as Koneko appeared and seized the opportunity, plunging a light spear into her right leg.
Angy screamed in pain—it was painful even for demons—and as she was pulling the light spear out, her other leg was also pierced by another fallen angel.
Angy:
I just fell to the ground because I wasn't expecting that, since only Reynare appeared in the anime, not Kalawarner, Mittelt, or Dohnaseek.
"I shouldn't have let my guard down, and now I'm paying the price. Something strange is happening in this dimension, since there are things that didn't happen in the anime, and things have changed a bit here."
I just stretched out my hand, trying to reach Asia, but little by little my vision was fading because of the pain I was in.
As Angy was about to lose consciousness, she saw someone in her mind's eye, and she recognized that back very well. All she could hear from that person was,
"You don't have to give up. You have to get back up so you can protect what you love. And I know you can do it. That's why I chose you to protect this dimension, so Angy, come on and give it your all."
Upon hearing that voice, the girl got up and moved with incredible speed, striking Dohnaseek and taking Asia from him. But because her body still lacked sufficient resistance, the burst she received took its toll, and she collapsed to the ground, as her body couldn't yet withstand much of Draig's power.
Hours later.
Angy:
I woke up screaming Asia's name, and when I could finally see where I was, I realized I was in the Occult Research Club. I tried to get up, but I couldn't move properly because of my injuries. So I just threw off the blanket and saw I was in my underwear. I didn't think much of it at the time since my priority was saving my friend Asia.
I looked around and saw the other members of the Occult Research Club, but I didn't want to talk to them because Rias was probably furious with me for not following her instructions.
Rias:
She was indeed angry because she had ordered her pawn not to go against her. He hadn't obeyed, because if they hadn't arrived in time, she surely wouldn't be here right now.
She simply approached her and slapped her.
"I told you not to go near the nun, because if you did, you could be in danger. And because you didn't listen to me, you almost died there. If it weren't for my family, I would have lost you by now."
Angy:
The blow didn't hurt since it was minor, and for now I was trying to come up with a plan to go save Asia. So I just got up, ignored the pain, and looked at Rias, somewhat serious.
"I know you don't want me to interfere, but I'm going to save her. That girl has always been alone and never had a friend. And now that she's found one, I won't leave her alone. She's been through so much, and if I become a rogue demon, I don't care. I wouldn't leave anyone alone, and that includes Rias, Akeno, Kiba, and Koneko. If you were ever in trouble, I would go to rescue you without hesitation."
After that, I left the Occult Research Club and headed to the church to rescue my friend Asia.
