"Now, keep them busy" she said before appearing into a shadow.
"Yes Ma'am" Kento's voice rasped evilly. "Let your mind sink into darkness!" he commanded as he channelled water droplets to the group.
"How's this possible?" Nerina said dodging his attack.
"Don't hurt him guys, he's not in control." Thalia grunted
"Then how are we supposed to get him back to normal?" Ravi questioned.
"I thought you knew!?" Thalia spoke.
"I think so, this magic must be a rare type of magic." "he answered while dodging.
"Feel the darkness! Embrace the darkness, let yourself be free!!" Kento attacked vigorously.
"If I can just figure it out without him attacking." Ravi paced nervously
"Got you covered! Rina ice wall!" Thalia commanded.
"Right! Wate magic: ice shell.." Nerina said, mimicking a spell by Kyomi

a few week earlier-
"of course I can teach you to hide your magic!" Kyomi squeaked.
"thanks... I told Ravi and Thalia I had ice magic... I was hoping you could tell me" Nerina looked down nervously. "a few of your spells?"
"sure!" Kyomi's eyes sparkled. "a teacher! me! how exciting!" she clapped her hands
"yeah, I'm happy to" Nerina said
"I'll teach you a defensive spell, since they're easy to do" she took a stance "this is called ice shell- what it does is, it keeps a person away from outside magic! it only works for a while!" Kyomi giggled. "you try it!"

"You two are nothing but pests in my way. Once I'm done you'll be trembling in fear" Kento said, touching his headphones slightly, changing the direction of the water.
"I know where you are!!" he sang happily. aiming daggers towards Ravi.
Ravi dodged quickly, whilst lost in thought
"You've grown stronger" Thalia's breath jumped inconsistently.
Kento grinned. "Oh please, I've been strong"
"Hmm. where have I heard that before… "embrace the darkness, free yourself?... " Ravi searched his mind at a faster pace.
"Listen to this killer music!" Kento roared, quickly putting his headphones on Thalia.
"So loud!!" Thalia shook her head as loud heavy metal music blasted in her ear drums. "My ears! I can't concentrate!"
Kento laughed. "Don't disgrace my killer music, I bet your taste is just like your kingdom!" he paused "bland!" He pierced his magic daggers into Thalia.
"Thalia!" Nerina's body twitched forward
"I think I've…Got it? I think it is forbidden, dark magic, it seems like this one is some kind of mind control… I can't tell, there are types of it" Ravi announced.
"Wow, they were right about you after all" Sabina said, appearing behind Nerina.
"No, Thalia!?" Nerina tried to move.
"What was it?" Ravi muttered out loud "cover your ears? No… don't touch them? No.. I haven't read much about it since it's forbidden"
"If I'm right, no matter what you do-" Ravi tried to speak.
"So annoying!!" Thalia groaned. She played around with the headphones.
"Does he always listen to music with this volume!?- its stuck!!" she groaned
Nerina turned around and gasped, as she tried to react.
But it was too late
"Look in her eyes!"
"I'll just have to ignore the music…" Thalia stood up before falling once more. "Urgh… I'm bleeding again" she held the wound softly.
