Kaito pushed Wulfrina into the bathroom. The smell of ice and the feeling of danger were getting stronger in the apartment. The S-Rank Lycan was very, very close.

Wulfrina took the object with disgust, as if it were a worm.

(The name of her brother made the fury in Wulfrina's eyes grow. She took a deep breath, using the anger as motivation)

Wulfrina began scrubbing the floor with absurd force, using the brush. She was overdoing it, but the floor was getting clean.

While Wulfrina attacked the bathroom with the strength of a General, Kaito focused on the System. The total CP was now 3.1. Much was still missing, but it was a start.
Suddenly, the apartment light flickered and went out. The apartment went dark, and Kaito felt a cold slice his skin, even in the summer heat.
"But what is this?" (Kaito asked, his voice trembling, fear returning in full force).
Wulfrina stopped scrubbing she became rigid, her eyes wide, panic evident.
"He... He cut the power (Wulfrina whispered, her breathing ragged, fear and tension overcoming her) The Shadow Ice is here, My brother is here, He's going to kill us, Kaito! He's going to... purify you for touching me!"
Kaito swallowed hard. He could see Wulfrina's silhouette in the dark.
"Easy, General, Breathe (Kaito said, forcing his voice to come out firm, but feeling his heart pounding in his throat) I am the Master. We think. If he cut the power, he's coming up the stairs, right? He wants a fair fight"

"Wulfrina, what does your brother hate the most? What would make him give up fighting?"
Wulfrina thought for a second, the anger at her brother calming her slightly.
"He... he hates dirt (She answered, the hesitation gone, her yellow eyes shining in the dark). He is obsessed with purity. He would never set foot in a dirty place!"
(Kaito smiled. A cynical smile, like someone who had just found an exploit in the code).
