Kaito pulled Wulfrina out of the bathroom. The electric energy was gone, and the smell of dark frost was stronger, like burnt metal mixed with snow. They had seconds.
"Listen up, General, here's the deal: we have to create hell for a cleanliness maniac,"
(Kaito explained quickly, his voice urgent, looking around with the desperation of someone improvising an upgrade).
"You said your brother hates filth? Great. We're going to give him the nastiest filth this apartment has."
Wulfrina was pale, and the panic in her yellow eyes was real, but the confusion over the order was greater.
"But… Master,"
(Wulfrina asked, her voice failing, the shame of what he was asking was almost a scream).
"I am an Eternal Frost Lycan! We purify! I can't… spread filth! This is against all my codes of honor!"
"Your code of honor is going to get you killed, Wulfrina!"
(Kaito snapped back angrily, pointing to the door)
"He's coming! Grab! The trash! Throw the trash on the floor! Now!"
Kaito ran to the kitchen bin and emptied it in the middle of the room. Banana peels, instant noodle wrappers, a terrible smell of food scraps filled the air.
"Gross, this is disgusting! (Kaito complained, holding his breath, the distaste clear on his own face). But it works! Wulfrina, what are you waiting for? Move that General rear and help!"
Wulfrina watched the chaos with complete revulsion. Her arms were shaking.
"I… I will be dishonored!"
(She muttered, feeling the shame rise up her neck, the desire to obey her Master conflicting with her Lycan pride).
"Please, Kaito. Give me another order! I will clean, but I won't spread the nastiness!"
"There is no other order, Wulfrina! Grab the moldy food from the fridge! Quick!"
(Kaito shouted, already opening the fridge and grabbing a container with something green and stinking).
"This is a guaranteed magic debuff! Take that smell and throw it near the entrance!"
Kaito took the container of moldy food and spread its contents near the living room door. The smell was unbearable.
Wulfrina closed her eyes. Loyalty to the Pact was absolute. She saw the danger and knew the order was for survival.
(Wulfrina sighed deeply, accepting the defeat and the disgust). "Very well, Master. I will do it. But know that this act will haunt me for ages."
She acted. Fast as lightning, she grabbed Kaito's bag and threw all the data papers and spreadsheets he'd spent days organizing onto the floor, scattering everything. Then, she ran to the bathroom and took the trash from there, dumping it over the kitchen mess.
"Trash Cover Mission activated!" (Wulfrina yelled, her voice full of controlled fury, channeling the rage into action). "The dishonor will be his poison!"
Kaito looked at the room. Organic waste, important papers, bathroom trash, and the moldy container. It was a scene of total chaos.
"Perfect! Filth Level: Eight out of Ten!"
(Kaito exclaimed, with a manic laugh, feeling the pure adrenaline of the strategy working).
"Hide! We hide behind the gamer chair!"
They threw themselves behind the chair, amidst the chaos and the stench. Kaito pulled Wulfrina close.
[System Notification: Tactical Objective Complete: Area Defense (Dark Frost Lycan Repulsion Barrier Creation) - 5 XP received! ]
(Kaito's eyes gleamed. He squeezed Wulfrina's hand, the joy of winning was clear).
"Five XP! It worked, Wulfrina! You're the best Filth General in the world!"
"I… I feel nauseous, Master,"
(Wulfrina whispered, her voice weak, holding her breath because of the smell, the extreme shame making her limp).
"What a terrible smell! He will sense this!"
Kaito nodded. The silence outside was absolute. The darkness was thick.
Suddenly, the apartment door, which Kaito had locked, groaned. The metal of the lock seemed to freeze.
"What is that?"
(Kaito asked, his fear spiking, his voice almost inaudible)
"He's… freezing the door?"
"He won't touch the doorknob,"
(Wulfrina whispered, trembling beside him, her fear was palpable)
"He is a Dark Frost Lycan. He purifies what he touches. He will freeze the filth."
The door latch broke open with a snap of cracking ice. A tall, slender shadow, with glowing red eyes, appeared in the doorway of the dark room.
The Dark Lycan stopped. And he sniffed the air.
Wulfrina's Rank S brother, the Dark Lycan, stopped at the entrance of Kaito's apartment. He wasn't just seeing the filth, he was sensing it. If Kaito and Wulfrina weren't purified by the sheer disgust, they would be annihilated by the power that had just entered the room.
