Alto moved through the forest. Holding several crystals in his hand. He no longer had pockets which made traveling with things difficult.
Alto maybe could have convinced the people of that town that he wasn't a murderer and that it was all the elder's son. However, he doubted he could. There was nothing as senseless as a mob after all. There is no hearing somebody out after they have already accused you of being a murderer. Especially so if multiple people have their back and reinforce those ideas.
Alto sighed as he continued moving.
Before, Alto was nearly killed by a single baby worm. He was much stronger now. Plus, now he knew the habits and weaknesses of the creatures he encountered. This gave him a large advantage. He could even fight the larger baby worms.
'How is something that large a baby anyway? I'd like to meet an adult one day… scratch that.'
After traveling for days alone, Alto was carrying all that he could. He had around twelve of the crystals and his sword. He had to resort to eating worm flesh as well. He has killed more worms as well. It's just he couldn't carry all the stones.
"If only I had a backpack."
The system lit up. Showing inventory slots. Four of them were white. While all the others were gray and had locks on top of them. There were maybe ten spaces in total.
Alto dropped all of his belongings while staring at the slots.
"You have got to be kidding me!"
After a slight outburst, Alto ended up storing the biggest or most dense crystals. Then he continued moving through the woods. It turns out that the inventory slots can only hold one item each. Which helped somewhat.
Alto would also avoid any beasts he came across. There were some strange ones as well. There was this giant bug-like thing with twelve long legs stretching three times as much as its body, A giant snake the could wrap around the colossal trees, A strange floating fish that shot out high pressure water, and more of the boars.
The thing that made the worms simple to kill was the fact that they didn't really think. They simply lounged at the closest moving thing. This made them predictable. Allowing Alto to fight the larger ones with only slight issues. The thing for beasts however, was they were unpredictable. Or at the very least, Alto hasn't had enough encounters with them to predict what they will do.
So worms would continue to be the menu.
Alto checked his stats once again.

{Baby Parasitic Worm Shard: Larger than most.}
Alto suddenly got an idea, he took out one of the Worm shard's. It appeared in his hand immediately then he replaced it with his sword.
{Silver Sword: Forged by the blacksmith Smith, a rather dull sword. Useful against weak enemies.}
Alto had a random thought.
'How does my intellect stat going up even affect my intelligence anyway? If it does make me smarter then shouldn't everyone else here be a genius? I am at a low level after all.'
Dismissing it for now. Alto continued walking forward. The world began to shift once more. Alto quickly searched for a cave.
'Damnit.'
A small boar was sleeping inside of it. The world was starting to turn sideways. Trying to traverse now was simply too dangerous. Alto began sliding down the cave. The creature was at the bottom. Then a dim orange light wrapped itself around Alto's sword.
{You have slain an Adolescent Flea}

'Woah my stats went up a ton.'
Soon the world was upside down. Alto continued to check his stats. Then ended up conjuring fire. The low magic potential made it much easier to form fire. It was using less mana and was more effective. Alto actually ate meat for the first time in days.
It was delicious.
Then after the world shifted back, Alto continued traveling.
He reached the edge of the island. Looking down at the vast ocean from above. He had to walk a long way down hill in order to reach it. Then Alto was stunned. As he saw a floating ship travel across the sky. The sun reflected off of it making it seem golden. There were massive white sails on the mast.
'Flying ships… there were always flying ships. I just forgot that too.'
Why wouldn't there be flying ships? The ship soared from his left to his right. Then disappeared from view behind a tall hill.
Alto followed it. It seems to have landed on the floating island. The issue was that Alto never made it. At the edge of the island. A group of eight people all appeared in front of Alto. All of them had silver hair, silver clothes, and silver weapons.
