Kuna was about to explode with rage at his cowardly subordinates who's frozen in fear.
But the moment his eyes landed on the mask worn by the intruder who had just instantly slaughtered his men, it was like a bucket of ice water had been dumped over his head.
His mind suddenly became terrifyingly clear.
'That half-faced Ghost Mask... the crushing gravity magic capable of flattening magical beasts... those eerie, glowing crimson eyes... and that unrestrained, brutal method of killing...'
'This Mage... could it be?!'
Whispers rippled through the crowd as the realization hit them like a physical blow.
Someone stared at Ankh, trembling, before screaming in a voice filled with utter despair.
"That's the S-Class Mage from the strongest guild, Fairy Tail! And one of the newly appointed Ten Wizard Saints!"
"It's him... it's the 'Fairy Grim Reaper'! Ankh Seram!"
Hearing that panicked scream, the remaining cultists froze.
No one dared to take another step forward.
The entire crowd descended into chaos, people scrambling and shoving each other in a desperate attempt to flee.
Kuna's face turned to the color of ash.
'How could this be happening?'
Ankh Seram.
The rumors said that anyone who felt fear in his presence would instantly lose their life.
He was an overwhelmingly powerful Mage who killed dark mages without leaving a trace.
He had once been the greatest enemy of the White Devil Cult, the single biggest reason their organization had suffered such severe setbacks in the past.
They had lost their main base because of him!
It was only after the cult leader ordered them to go deep underground and operate in total secrecy that they had managed to slowly evade his relentless pursuit.
Who would have thought that today, of all days, they would catch his attention again?
Under the terrified gaze of the crowd, Ankh slowly raised his hand.
Snap.
He snapped his fingers.
The sound was crisp, measured, and final.
Instantly, everyone's hearts were shrouded in a boundless, suffocating gloom.
It stripped away their will to resist, leaving nothing but a hollow emptiness.
Facing such an enemy, how could anyone summon any courage within them? Fear was the only thing left to feel for them.
And just as that thought took root in their minds, invisible waves of the Death Wave rose silently from the ground.
The thugs of the White Devil Cult, once a rowdy mob, didn't even have time to scream.
In the blink of an eye, they collapsed, transformed into piles of lifeless corpses without a single sound.
The only survivors were Kuna and Seilah, who were standing just outside the spell's range, and the bewildered Beast King.
Kuna's legs were shaking so hard he could barely stand.
Beside him, Seilah gently touched her red lips and chuckled softly.
"Interesting."
Ankh ignored the trembling Kuna and stared at the Beast King.
The monster's aura was exceptionally powerful, causing Ankh's expression to darken slightly.
The Magic Power radiating from this beast was intense—no wonder it had been able to defeat Mirajane in the original storyline.
But then his gaze shifted to the horned woman.
Ankh couldn't detect even a trace of Magic Power coming from her, and yet, his instincts were screaming at him.
He felt an immense, heavy pressure emanating from her very existence.
As for the so-called Vice-Leader standing next to her?
Utter trash.
Kuna, desperately trying to muster what little courage he had left, let out a roar.
His two demonically transformed arms swelled with disgusting muscle as he charged recklessly toward Ankh!
Ankh snorted disdainfully.
He kicked off the ground with immense force, shooting toward his opponent like a meteor.
BOOM!!
A gravity magic circle flared at his elbow, providing a massive burst of propulsion.
Before Kuna could even begin to swing his Demon Arms, Ankh was already there.
He punched Kuna squarely in the face.
The impact sent the Vice-Leader flying hundreds of meters backward, crashing through trees like a ragdoll.
'So strong...'
After his body modification, Kuna had believed his physical strength was unparalleled.
But he had made a fatal miscalculation: he didn't know that most Mages in Fairy Tail trained in physical combat just as rigorously as they did in Magic.
Trying to match strength with Ankh, who wielded Titan Gravity magic? That was just asking for a death sentence.
The always-arrogant Kuna lay unconscious in a heap of rubble.
His nose was broken, his face caved in, and his tongue was lolling out—a truly pitiful sight.
With a single punch, Ankh had swatted the fly blocking his path.
He showed no intention of stopping, using his momentum to continue charging relentlessly toward the mysterious woman!
Seilah watched Ankh's rapid approach with a faint, amused smile.
She slowly spread her pale, slender hand open in front of her.
Suddenly, a massive figure leaped out, positioning itself protectively between her and Ankh.
Ankh's expression shifted slightly.
It was the Beast King—the creature that had been savage and irrational just moments ago was now standing before the woman like a loyal, disciplined guard.
"So, the Beast King is your subordinate?" Ankh asked coldly, his crimson eyes locking onto the woman behind the monster.
Seilah smiled slightly, her gaze drifting down to the book she had discarded earlier.
She murmured to herself, "Human stories are too gentle... they need more twists, and much more cruelty."
A cold glint flashed in Ankh's eyes.
"How tedious!"
As he spoke, the suppressing power of Titan Gravity magic erupted.
Ankh clashed fiercely with the Beast King, engaging in a contest of brute force.
It didn't last long.
CRACK!
Within moments, the Beast King's arm was twisted grotesquely in the wrong direction, snapping like a dry sugarcane stalk!
Against opponents who relied solely on brute strength, Ankh and his Titan Gravity were their natural nemeses.
The Beast King's massive body was sent flying by Ankh's, crashing into the forest floor.
This finally caused Seilah to raise her elegant eyebrows in genuine surprise.
"Your companion has been dealt with. Now, it's your turn," Ankh declared coldly, staring her down.
Facing Ankh, who had just effortlessly plowed through an army, a Vice-Leader, and a boss-level monster, Seilah still showed no trace of fear.
Instead, her smile grew bigger.
"Human, I should correct you on something," Seilah finally spoke, pointing mockingly at the defeated Beast King and Kuna nearby.
"Those foolish humans and beasts... they are not my companions, you know."
Ankh frowned, finally noticing the odd phrasing.
"You're not human? Then what are you?"
Seilah shot Ankh an annoyed glare, as if he just asked a stupid question.
She stated seriously, "We are Demons. True Demons."
'Wow, how impressive...'
Ankh's expression remained completely unchanged.
He stared at the proud-faced Seilah as if he were looking at a crazy person.
Seeing the doubt in his eyes, Seilah sneered.
"We are the children created by Lord Zeref! A frog in a well like you could never understand the greatness of the Books of Zeref!"
'Zeref?'
Memories slowly surfaced from the depths of Ankh's mind...
Before crossing into this world, Ankh hadn't actually watched the entire Fairy Tail series.
His knowledge and grasp of the plot only extended up to the Tenrou Island arc, where the powerful bosses were Grimoire Heart and Acnologia.
The ultimate goal of Grimoire Heart had been to capture the legendary Black Mage from four hundred years ago—Zeref.
But as for the story after Tenrou Island? He knew nothing.
He didn't know how Fairy Tail escaped the island, or what happened to Zeref and the Black Dragon after their battle...
"If you say you were created by Zeref, then you've actually caught my interest," Ankh mused, thoughtfully stroking his chin.
Previous intel indicated that the White Devil Cult was a covert subordinate organization of a Dark Guild called "Tartaros."
This was a Dark Guild completely unknown to Ankh.
Together with Oración Seis and Grimoire Heart, these three major Dark Guilds formed the Balam Alliance—the largest conglomerate in the dark world.
Through memories of his past life, Ankh knew about the first two, but regarding Tartaros, he knew nothing of it.
The Gravity magic surrounding Ankh intensified, and dark Death Wave energy slowly began to emanate from his hands.
"Your existence holds considerable value to me..." he said, his voice dropping an octave.
Seilah covered her lower face with her hand, letting out a light, mocking laugh.
"Oh? You want to capture me alive?"
"Or dead works too!"
Ankh's speed surged dramatically.
He threw a fist enhanced with God Slayer magic mercilessly toward the delicate beauty's face.
Seilah didn't flinch.
Her snowy white chest swayed slightly as she indifferently crossed her arms.
She opened her mouth and charmingly chanted a command:
"Curse: Macro."
"Kneel!"
The command rippled through the air.
However, Ankh didn't stop.
Seeing the demon refuse to dodge or evade, Ankh was actually somewhat intimidated by her sheer confidence.
'Is it a trap?'
Subconsciously, he hesitated.
He reduced the force behind his strike at the very last second, trying to pull the punch.
Because of this hesitation, the trajectory of his attack shifted uncontrollably.
Squelch.
The air in the forest seemed to freeze solid.
Ankh and Seilah stood face to face, mere inches apart while staring at each other in total shock.
Disbelief was reflected in both their eyes.
'Why aren't you affected by the 'Command'?!' Seilah thought, panic rising.
'Why didn't you dodge?!' Ankh thought, horrified.
Countless questions swirled in both their minds, but the physical reality was undeniable.
Ankh's hand, meant for her face, had landed... significantly lower.
After a moment of dead silence, the slow-to-react Seilah finally processed what was happening.
"AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"
An ear-piercing scream erupted, shaking the leaves off the trees.
Ankh's face turned ashen.
He silently, and very quickly, released his "Claw" that had been firmly gripping her... breast.
He really couldn't be blamed for this!
In all his years as a Mage, he'd never encountered an opponent so arrogant that she wouldn't even try to dodge a punch!
Seira desperately retreated, covering her best with both of her arms.
Her previously calm, aloof, and "cool demon" facade was completely shattered.
Her face was now frosty with a mix of humiliation and barely contained rage.
"I've changed my mind," she hissed, her voice trembling with fury.
"I'm going to kill you!!"
--------
Seilah is hot ngl!
