Cultural background: so once there was a Vietnamese girl who was the only daughter amongst boys. Her family doted over her and spoilt her. And so, after her highschool graduation, they rewarded her a with gap year to Australia. However, that gap year turned into a lifetime, as she fell in love with an Aboriginal Australian. She refused to return back to her life in Vietnam, and married her lover.
They decided to move to India to start their new lives with brighter opportunities. However, they moved to Abu Dhabi a few months after having their first and only child, for better opportunities. To match his new Arabian society, he was given Arabic name Zayn but also Veer, to honour when he was born in India.
Backstory: Liam wasn't like other kids. Not because he was different personality wise, but because he's appreance always made him stand out with his tall frame towering over his mates, plus he's crystal pale skin, naturally wavy orange hair and forest green eyes with beauty marks on his face and neck. He looked like a prince living in the wrong century. He's extraordinary looks made him get scouted by a foreign company's scout that was having a project the Abu Dhabi while he was a child. They noticed his striking features as he played in a park and immediately offered him a spot in a magazine. That was the start of his modelling career. Into his teenage years, he dominated the modelling scene as he was a natural.
With time, Liam started noticing the dark sides of the modelling industry. Like how ordinary people were confronted with beauty standards and deceived by models who were touched up by professional make cup artists and had their photos photoshopped. Even worse was what he saw his industry colleague go through. Many starved themselves, got surgeries, especially the females.
There was this one colleague he was particularly close to. Her name was Sasha. Sasha was attractive but was pushed to the bones by her company to meet their beauty standards. This even led her to depression and self harm as she kept feeling like a loser even though Liam tried to convince her that she was already perfect. Eventually, Sasha died as a result of numerous cosmetic surgeries. The company moved on like nothing happen. The industry didn't even feel it. Just another one that didn't make it. And Liam couldn't accept making a living off a place so dark. So, he quit and proceeded to study Accounting in University of Melbourne before switching to Yonsei University in Korea to study Economics where he got his degree and reunited with Miru.

Since his mother practically abandoned her Vietnamese roots, Liam still put in extra efforts to learn about them, sometimes making her feel guilty about leaving.
Liam got into Miru's idol group idea as they shared the same convictions of experiencing, witnessing and hating the dark side of the entertainment industry.
Growing up together, Miru encouraged Liam not to feel insecure about his physical traits. Though Miru may not know, but his the reason Liam came to embrace his features and see them as charms as he modelled because of that encouragement.
Languages: Arabic, English, Korean (from his years studying in Korea), Vietnamese, Pitjantjatjara (a native language of Aboriginal Australians), and a bit of Hindi, Japanese and understands some French and Portuguese from his time of modelling in Europe.

In the group's villa, he owns an Axolotl.

Special ability: hearing. Liam can hear down to even people's thoughts of he listens closely, using his hearing abilities to hear what people easily miss.
He also tends to hide the fact that he uses glasses
Although he's addressed by his Arabic name back home and by his group members whom he grew up with, he chose to use his English name as his stage name.

Though he may have both parents, his parents are either showering him with undivided attention or neglecting him. No in between. And as an only child, Liam grew feeling lonely most times because of this. Another hole Miru used to fill in his life.
