Roxanna immediately felt her cheeks grow warm. "Yes, I know. I'm the one carrying the baby."
Luan said, "I'm going to be a father!"
"You're already a father."
"I'm going to be a father again."
Roxanna stared at him for a moment before bursting into laughter. There was really no point in arguing with him when he looked this happy.
Behind them, Calen suddenly let out another miserable whine.
The sound immediately reminded Roxanna that there was still one very unhappy husband standing nearby.
Luan glanced toward him, and his smile became even wider. "Why does he look like that?"
"Don't ask," Roxanna quickly replied.
"He got upset because Roxanna pregnant with your child," Zeir answered from the terrace anyway.
Calen's ears immediately lowered. "I'm not upset that she's carrying Luan's cub. I'm happy for them."
His words sounded sincere, but the way he stared at Roxanna's stomach with such a pitiful expression made it obvious that there was more to it.
