Forest Hill Elementary School.
One of the oldest and most established public elementary schools in Queens, New York, United States.
"It is truly an honor for our school that Rimuru can attend. Please rest assured, our school will definitely make Rimuru feel the care of a family!"
After hanging up the phone, the principal of Forest Hill Elementary School couldn't help wiping his sweat.
Who exactly was this Rimuru Tempest? It was just a transfer, yet in half a day he had already received calls from three prominent figures.
The first was from the Director of the Queens Education Bureau, who specifically reminded him that a student named Rimuru would soon be transferring to Forest Hill Elementary School and asked him to take good care of her.
If that call only made him pay a little attention, the second call shocked him—it was from Iron Man, Tony Stark, who was currently at the height of his fame.
He personally instructed the school to take good care of Rimuru and then donated five million U.S. dollars to Forest Hill Elementary School.
Upon hearing this news, the principal almost fainted from excitement. He even wondered if he had misheard a zero.
An elementary school is not a university, especially not a public one. He had been a principal for over twenty years and had almost never seen a donation—let alone one this large.
How inhumanly rich!
As for the third call, it was even more mysterious. An Agent from the FBI named Natasha Romanoff called to inform him that the school would temporarily be under FBI surveillance and requested his cooperation.
Natasha promised that if he performed well during the mission, his position might be moved up in a few years.
The principal was stunned. He had been an elementary school principal for twenty years and had almost resigned himself to staying in that position until retirement.
Now there was a chance for promotion?!
Who exactly was Rimuru Tempest?
Tempest… was there any prominent figure in the country with that surname?
The principal was puzzled, but that didn't stop him from conveying the instructions from above tenfold—no, a hundredfold—to the school's teachers.
What Rimuru didn't know was that even before she enrolled, she was already well-known among the school's higher-ups.
She also didn't know that those prominent figures were even more enthusiastic about her enrollment than she imagined.
Rimuru initially thought she would be very resistant to attending elementary school, but when she actually walked onto the campus, her heart instead felt calm.
She could certainly disregard S.H.I.E.L.D.'s arrangements, but that would mean openly rejecting S.H.I.E.L.D.'s goodwill.
Rimuru's ability was amazing, but at her core, Rimuru was extremely laid-back; she hated trouble more than anything.
Thinking of the Hulk being chased around by his father-in-law every day, occasionally eating peanuts and watermelon, Rimuru suddenly felt that going to elementary school was actually pretty good.
Thus, Rimuru naturally became a student at Forest Hill Elementary School.
And why choose this public elementary school? There was only one reason—Peter Parker was a student here.
Entering Marvel and not taking Little Spider as a future subordinate—what difference was there between that and being a salted fish?
As soon as she entered the school, Rimuru received a warm welcome from the principal. The treatment was comparable to a high-ranking education bureau inspection.
This made Rimuru a bit speechless. Principal, really? Is it okay to fawn over a student like this?
When she met her homeroom teacher, Ms. Jacqueline, Rimuru was even more surprised. Her gentle attitude, kind tone, and sweet smile were something she had never seen in her previous or current life.
This level of preferential treatment for a student was only slightly below a certain university's "full scholarship + three study companions."
Far? Not far at all!
Classroom.
Teacher Jacqueline stood at the podium, beaming. "I have good news for everyone. We have a new student transferring into our class today. Everyone, please welcome her!"
Clap clap!
A sparse round of applause spread across the classroom. The students were curious, but subtly, there was also some rejection and dislike.
To avoid disrupting academic progress, transfers usually occurred at the beginning of a semester.
But now it was the end of the semester, with summer vacation only a month away—clearly not a good time to transfer.
Of course, such things had happened before, and fairly often.
In the United States, children from powerful and influential families generally attend private schools.
Unless, for example, they were advised to withdraw for a major mistake—and were then forced to transfer into a public school.
So when the students heard "transfer," their first thought was—is this some trash a private school didn't want, dumped into our class?
However, the moment Rimuru entered the classroom, every student's eyes widened instantly. Their breathing quickened, and for a moment, you could hear a pin drop.
Oh my god, THIS was the new transfer student?
She was too beautiful. Too cute.
Even in the school uniform, she looked completely different.
She resembled a girl who had stepped out of a painting—especially with her long blue hair and golden pupils, making her look astonishingly otherworldly.
"Hello everyone, my name is Rimuru Tempest. Please take good care of me from now on!"
After writing her name on the blackboard with chalk, Rimuru gave a simple introduction.
This time, the classroom immediately erupted in enthusiastic applause—wave after wave.
"Is this the new transfer student? She's so cute!"
"We're so lucky to be classmates with her!"
"Her eye color is actually golden. Is she wearing colored contacts? She's so beautiful!"
Hearing the chattering voices of her classmates, Rimuru sighed. The Earth was no longer the Earth of the past—but the world was still the same world.
Looks determined everything.
With the skill Magic Perception, Rimuru's five senses were far too sharp.
She had heard every word of the earlier disdain from many classmates—many even saying openly, "Here comes another piece of trash."
But when they saw her face, everything changed!
In an instant, she became one of the most popular students in the class.
Jacqueline smiled. "Since everyone has met, Rimuru, please sit next to Peter Parker!"
Huh?
Little Peter Parker was stunned.
He had been eating melon the whole time, right?
When had such heaven-defying good luck fallen upon him?
But then, feeling the naked hostility radiating from the surrounding classmates, Peter's scalp began tingling.
Oh no, oh no, this hate being drawn toward me… this is a femme fatale!
To avoid getting beaten up by the class bullies, even if I, Peter Parker, starve to death, jump off a building, or die right here—I will absolutely NOT talk to Rimuru!
Rimuru set down her small backpack, then turned and said to Little Spider, "My name is Rimuru, and we'll be deskmates from now on. Please take good care of me!"
Peter's face turned red. He stammered, "I—I—I'm Peter Benjamin Parker. I live in the XXX community in Forest Hill, Queens, with Aunt May and Uncle Ben. Aunt May is… Uncle Ben calls me Peter. My classmates usually call me 'Nerd Peter,' and Thompson calls me 'Insignificant Peter'!"
Pfft!
Rimuru couldn't help laughing. She was just saying hello, not conducting a household registration survey!
Was Little Spider's talkative nature already developing at this age?
Seeing Rimuru laugh, Peter's little face turned even redder. He awkwardly scratched the back of his head, looking dazed and adorably silly.
So cute—he must be a boy!
After seeing Little Spider's cute face, a thought suddenly popped into Rimuru's mind. And once it appeared, it wouldn't go away!
