"That's really impressive, Annihilape," Kaito said, patting the leader's shoulder. "Among all the Primeape at home, only you mastered Rage Fist. Truly the heart of a leader."
Annihilape scratched its head sheepishly, sitting down to enjoy some Spirit Berries—sweet, flower-shaped treats that Kaito had prepared specially for his Ghost-type partners. Inside the villa, Blacephalon was glued to the TV, watching a documentary on fireworks with the intensity of a scholar. A true master always has the heart of an apprentice, and the "Burst" Pokémon was determined to become the greatest performer in history.
The Master and the Sage
Outside by the lake, Infernape was straining under the weight of a massive Carbink diamond. It didn't just want to be strong; it wanted to be the Monkey King from Kaito's stories—the Great Sage who could defy the heavens.
Suddenly, a small shadow detached itself from the ore. Marshadow watched Infernape's crude training and shook its head. To a divine martial artist like Marshadow, Infernape's technique was full of holes.
With a movement as fluid as a white cloud, Marshadow used a palm strike to send the heavy monkey flying dozens of meters back with zero effort.
"Do you want me to teach you?" Marshadow asked.
Infernape's eyes burned with a fierce, golden flame. It nodded heavily. A new master-disciple bond was formed under the morning sun.
The Ministers of Agriculture
Kaito walked toward the fields, accompanied by Bunnelby. He was met by Dragonite and Castform, his appointed "Ministers of Agriculture."
"Working hard, I see," Kaito laughed, pinching Dragonite's chubby, fleshy cheeks. The Dragonite let out a happy "Roar wu~" and hugged Kaito, its belly rippling with a soft "boing." Bunnelby looked on with an "all-knowing" gaze—it knew Dragonite had been sneaking extra snacks.
Guided by the ministers, Kaito discovered two new mutated crops:
Delicious Wanshu Wheat: Enhances the flavor and quality of any dish it's added to.
All-purpose Healing Grass: A miracle herb capable of curing even incurable diseases like cancer, though it possesses a long cooling time between uses.
The Fourth Champion
Returning to the yard, Kaito found Volcarona cradling the Legendary Pokémon Egg. The sun-moth's Flame Body had kept the egg warm and active.
"You've worked hard," Kaito said, handing Volcarona a pouch of Silver Powder.
As the Bug-type treasure was absorbed, a brilliant green pillar of light shot into the sky. Calyrex, sipping tea nearby, used its psychic power to contain the pressure so it wouldn't disturb the farm.
The system notified:
Volcarona used Silver Powder.
Level up: 79 → 82!
Rank Up: Champion-tier.
Potential: Champion-tier (Individual Values reached 6IV peak).
Kaito now had four Champion-tier Pokémon: Gardevoir, Salamence, Golurk, and Volcarona.
Gengar's "Crime"
In the Berry area, Snorlax had piled a literal "mountain" of fruit. Mime Jr., in its excitement, burrowed into the pile, causing a berry-avalanche. Meganium frantically used vine whips to dig everyone out, while Snorlax simply sat there eating the avalanche, claiming it was "helping."
Shiny Gengar emerged from the ground, holding a dazed Mime Jr. like a hero. It stood tall, laughing heartily, and decided to show off its strength. It spotted a "Pikachu" standing nearby and gave its forehead a playful flick.
Crack. The Pikachu's head snapped sideways, hanging at a broken angle.
"Gengar?!" The ghost's mouth fell open. It tried to prop the head back up, but it just flopped.
"Hobi?!" Bunnelby shrieked, pressing its paws to its cheeks. "Gengar killed a Pokémon!"
The yard erupted into chaos as Bunnelby and Psyduck ran to fetch Kaito. Meganium rushed over with healing energy, only to stop in confusion.
The "Pikachu" suddenly straightened its head with a wooden creak.
"Gengar, that's not a Pikachu," Kaito said, arriving with the frantic duo in tow. "That's a Mimikyu."
Mimikyu adjusted its rag, staring at the terrified Gengar with its true eyes hidden in its belly. Gengar clutched its chest, feeling like its own heart—if it had one—had just skipped a beat.
Kaito has added a mysterious Mimikyu to the farm's observers! With Volcarona reaching Champion-tier and the God's Egg showing signs of life, will Kaito focus on his new martial arts duo of Marshadow and Infernape, or will he finally set out for the Spirit Cave to uncover the secrets of the Ghost Plate?
