The Research Assistant and the Rage King
That afternoon, under a brilliant sun, Smoliv basked in the light to facilitate their Synthesis. In the Research Institute, Kaito was busy typing. Beside him, Liu Xuan, now a full-time member of the farm's staff, relayed data.
"I still can't believe Primeape has an evolution," she remarked, watching the misty aura surrounding Annihilape. "The first Ghost/Fighting type in history... this will cause a sensation."
Kaito finished the last keystroke.
Thesis Title: "The Fusion of Fighting and Ghost — Annihilape."
With the paper published, the world would soon see the value of the often-overlooked Primeape. However, Kaito knew the evolution required extreme Ghost energy and emotional control—traits his farm provided in abundance.
The Mutated Flower Field
Shaymin (Sky Forme) flew into Kaito's arms with news: the flower field was mutating.
Kaito visited the field and was greeted by a Ribombee carrying a Mutated Pollen Clump.
Effect: Provides EXP and a Random Individual Value +1.
Kaito realized that every farm product—Leavanny's silk, Miltank's milk, Mareep's wool—now had the potential to mutate into something legendary.
Among the twenty mutated flowers, Kaito found:
Gracidea Flowers: Six plants, ensuring Shaymin's forms were secure.
Prevention Red Flower: Prevents abnormal statuses and minor illnesses.
Splitting Flower: Can replicate any nearby flower at the cost of one petal.
Friend Flower: The most precious discovery. When held by a human and Pokémon, it allows for barrier-free communication.
While Kaito's Viridian Power made this redundant for him, he knew the Friend Flower could change human society, bridging the gap between species worldwide. He praised Shaymin for creating something that could influence the world.
The Battle of Wills: Infernape vs. Marshadow
As the sun set, turning the clouds into fiery ribbons, a crowd gathered to watch a spar. Marshadow, the legendary master of shadows, had agreed to test Infernape at an equal power level.
Infernape, the former frail Chimchar, had transformed. It used a Mach Punch to close the distance, but Marshadow dodged with a simple, fluid squat. Infernape adjusted mid-air, dodging a counter-punch to its abdomen, and immediately ignited into a Flare Blitz.
"One force can break all methods!" was Infernape's philosophy. Since it couldn't match Marshadow's centuries of refined technique, it would use overwhelming fire and speed to force an opening.
Marshadow's eyes gleamed with admiration. It saw a fighter who refused to let innate disadvantages define its destiny. The battle was no longer just a spar; it was the collision of two different "Fighting" philosophies.
Kaito has introduced Annihilape to the scientific world and discovered the Friend Flower! With Marshadow training his Infernape and the farm's products mutating into miracles, will Kaito begin a mass-scale "Communication Project" with the Friend Flowers, or will he focus on the mystery of the Lansat Berries being found in the orchard?
