Chapter 33 - Kiting, Mass Killing, Insta-Gibbing the Boss

That night, Morintis entered the dungeon for the fourth time.

This time, the number of Skeleton Warriors had increased to 76.

After clearing the dungeon three times previously, he knew it like the back of his hand.

Upon entering, a brand new idea formed in his mind.

"Worth a try."

"If it works, I can use it in other dungeons later."

No sooner thought than done.

All Skeleton Warriors surged into the mine tunnels like a tide.

The numerous monsters in the tunnels were aggroed by the Skeleton Warriors, but the skeletons didn't engage them, instead running non-stop deeper into the dungeon.

This created a peculiar scene inside the dungeon: a horde of Skeleton Warriors sprinting ahead, followed by a massive swarm of Goblin monsters.

And behind the Goblin monsters, was Morintis himself.

Morintis was also running, following the procession, a slight smile on his face.

After the Skeleton Warriors reached Bronze-tier, the maximum distance between them and Morintis had increased to 1000 meters.

He only needed to stay within that 1000-meter range.

They kited nearly a hundred monsters from the tunnels all the way to the area where the Minefang Wolf King resided.

The arrival of the Skeleton Warriors also alerted the Minefang Wolf King.

The Wolf King began attacking the Skeleton Warriors, but they ignored it completely.

Once all the pursuing monsters had caught up.

...

Under Morintis's command, the Skeleton Warriors tightened their formation, their movement range shrinking.

The monsters were also compressed into a smaller area, gathered tightly together.

By this time, Morintis's figure had appeared at the tunnel entrance.

A Skeleton Warrior suddenly attacked, instantly killing one of the Goblin Mine Guards.

The corpse was then hurled high into the air.

Corpse Explosion!

Morintis, who had been waiting for this moment, activated the skill, detonating the body.

A tremendous boom echoed.

The entire mine cavern shook, countless碎石 falling from the walls.

Rows of Goblin Mine Guards fell.

In Morintis's interface, prompts once again began flooding his screen.

The prompts came too fast to read.

Morintis had no time to look.

A large number of fresh corpses had been created.

He continuously cast Corpse Explosion, using it ten times in a row.

Ten massive explosions rocked the dungeon, the ground visibly scarred and stripped away a layer.

This time, the Minefang Wolf King didn't escape back into its passage; it died outright amidst the corpse explosions.

Then, the iron gate in the passage swung open, and a large number of Savage Mine Wolves charged out.

Only then did Morintis understand: these gates opened automatically; the Wolf King didn't need to run back and call them.

"Continue.

Pull them all into the main pit."

Morintis issued the order.

The Skeleton Warriors charged once more, this time towards the main mining pit.

What was in the main pit?

Aside from some Goblin monsters, only the Goblin King remained.

The Skeleton Warriors, kiting over a hundred Savage Mine Wolves, charged recklessly inside.

Morintis followed behind.

At this moment, the glow of a level-up enveloped him.

That earlier wave of mass explosions had already pushed him to level 14.

And now, only 5 minutes had passed since he entered the dungeon.

This speed was incredibly fast, almost unimaginable.

The Skeleton Warriors ran down the paths of the mining pit, aggroing all the monsters residing there.

By the time they reached the bottom of the cavern, over 200 monsters were trailing behind the procession.

Goblin-type monsters and Savage Mine Wolves were all crammed together.

The Goblin King gradually awoke, its eyes filled with confusion.

What was going on?

"I'm back."

Morintis had also walked down.

The Skeleton Warriors stopped running and began counter-attacking.

Furious Strike!

Red light gleamed on their large blades as they unleashed the skill.

Amidst a painful howl, a Savage Mine Wolf was instantly killed.

Its corpse flew up and exploded mid-air!

Corpse Explosion!

Boom!

Boom!

The roaring explosions were relentless, threatening to collapse the entire cavern.

Experience points soared.

Prompts flooded his vision endlessly.

A large quantity of materials and items entered his backpack.

The Goblin King, who had just awoken and hadn't even fully stood up,

succumbed amidst over a dozen consecutive Corpse Explosions, crashing to the ground.

This death was more miserable than the previous times, but also quicker.

Any suffering lasted only a few seconds.

Looking at the Goblin King's deeply resentful expression, Morintis let out a soft sigh.

"I'll only be back three more times."

The implication was clear: it had to die three more times.

"Guess you're used to it by now.

People come to kill you every day anyway."

[Killed Goblin King.Experience +40000]

Checking his experience: Level 14, 60%.

He would reach level 15 on the next run.

After reaching level 15, the experience requirement would increase again,

likely by 2 to 3 times.

"Calculating the time, I can probably enter three more times at most.

Barring surprises, I should reach level 16."

"But the exact outcome depends on the experience requirement after level 15."

By now, the area outside the dungeon had returned to its usual bustle.

There were slightly fewer people than before, and the crowd had changed.

Morintis didn't see a single familiar face at a glance.

From snippets of conversation, he heard that the Dynasty Guild had been around.

Clearly, the Dynasty Guild hadn't obtained any useful information.

This time, Morintis didn't go far.

He found a secluded spot to sit in meditation.

Four more Skeleton Warriors were added, bringing the total to 80.

Each Skeleton Warrior's four core attributes had reached a staggering 4600, even higher than the Nightmare-difficulty dungeon boss, the Goblin King.

Their only weakness was the lack of powerful skills.

They didn't possess high-damage skills like the Goblin King's Flame Jet.

While meditating, Morintis suddenly received information relayed by his Skeleton Warriors.

Someone was approaching.
