Nicholas gets up from his seat and comes out of the reception desk.

"It's alright. I can go on my own." I replied in a firm voice.
I walked away from the reception desk and walked through the stairs and I stopped in front of the Mana Field which covered the entire floor. I entered the field with my access card.

It is a Mana energy technique in which the caster casts Mana over a specific area. The field expulses any mana which is not its own. If a caster uses or releases mana in the Mana Field, they will be expelled from the area.
The Mana Field in the library is casted using Mana Tools.
I walked through the hallway surrounded by the towering shelves on either side with a musty scent of the books that spread across the entire floor.

The Sternen Empire, also called The Empire of Stars, was founded by the first Emperor Arthur Svendsdatter with his wife Queen Catherine Svendsdatter by uniting the three Kingdoms 438 years ago.
The first Emperor is said to have ended the war which resulted in the deaths of several hundreds of thousands and brought peace across the vast continent that lasts to this day.
The first Emperor Arthur Svendsdatter ruled the Empire for 42 years.

The Sternen Empire has friendly relations with the Kingdom of Sicily.
There is a constant trade of goods between the Sternen Empire and the Kingdom of Sicily. The Empire exports the food crops and imports timber and fur from the Kingdom.
The relations even furthered after the marriage between the Princess of Sicily and Kliment Devonshire, younger brother of Count Radovan Devonshire.
The Republic
The Sternen Empire and The Republic were at war until 10 years ago.
The Empire and The Republic are in a Ceasefire after The Republic proposed a Ceasefire Agreement 10 years ago.

It is an Organisation established 10 years ago with the goal to overthrow the Current regime. In the beginning it was only made of a few members, but took over a few villages in the west over the period of time.
The Empire has been at war with The Revolutionary since then.
Its members are mostly made up of commoners. The leader of the Revolutionary is still Unknown.

I closed the books and looked outside the window.
