I was stunned in my place once I realised what I did, Did I really kissed him? oh my god,his eyes are too wide like also can't believe what really happened,his grip on my wrist tighten,the slowly I saw his lips curve in to a small smirk with eyes sparkling.
I pulled way from him looking down I don't think I can look him in the eyes now, my whole body in fire'
One of his hand reached to my cheek cupping it with hand he make me lift my head softly ''Stay her until I come back'' with that he left me here with Luke and disappear through his men.
it's been an hour but Carmine isn't back yet I'm getting uneasy imagining the worst scene in my mind 'Is he okay?', 'Will he be hurt?' since the day I woke up to find him hugging me I felt a weird sensation in my body every time I saw him,everytime I remember the way he crawl to the corner of the roo to give enough space without leaving me,I still remember the way he stare at me with those wounded eyes.
I felt something shifting inside me back then but after that day I saw how true he was to me I can feel that he want more than a business transaction,when he ignore me for past three weeks I was devastated, I cried thinking he might be disgusted by me because I pushed him away,and also he didn't come to see after that I cried almost everyday until I've had enough and went to him.
I felt stupid now he wasn't disgusted but he was afaraid go approach me.
while I was deep in thought I heard a gunshot firing from where Carmine disappear with his men,in sudden my whole body start to shriver I saw Luke approaching me in hurry and then more gunshot from the same direction,I heard Luke opening the door to my side of the car and telling me something,but I couldn't figure it out my whole body went numb as my thought rush to Carmine 'Is he okay?', 'Is he shot by them?' suddenly my eyes snap to reality.
In a spark of moment I pushed Luke away and run to where gun shot are coming frorm,I heard muffled sound of Luke 's protests yelling me to stop,I turn back to see him in ground holding his ankle, I think he might got a cramp from stumbling back,but I couldn't stop,I want to go to Carmine my brain is screaming me to stop but I couldn't,I approach the warehouse and saw they are shooting eachother but there's no trace of Carmine, I felt nauseous of the thoughtt of him being hurt,I took two stepp forward ready to go find him during the firing rain,but I froze in the mid step when I saw a gun point at me ready to pull the trigger in any moment,my eyes widened when the old man suddenly pull the trigger with a maniac laugh but in blur of moment I felt I was beign pulled into the side,I closed my eyes with heavily breathing when I opened my eyes I saw Luke in the ground panting heavily.
his eyes are blood shotted with anger as he opened his mouth to yell a loud bang cut trough whole air following with few more,we both turn our head to see Carmine there saoked in blood pulling trigger over and over until that man was dead,I saw him turning to my side,his eyes are shining with fury and protectiveness.He storm towards me but as he get close his legs start to wobble,my legs start to move towars him even though Luke trying to pull me away from the unfolding scene but I couldn't stop I caught him as Carmine is about fall to the ground,he weight made us both wobble back before I lower him to the ground.
''you have to leave here''his voice weak but firm,he's soaking in blood I don't know what really happened but I feel like I'm loosing myself by seeing him like this I'm not gonna leave the only person who rescue me from my father.
''No,not without you''I protest firmly for the first time in mylife.
''don't be stubborn,you have to leave this place isn't for you''he's all weight is leaning onto me but still protesting me leave,but how could leave him in such situation ,he need medical care immediately but the it seems like we're in a trap
''Boss-''luke try to speak but Carmine bark an order making him go rigid.
''Take her to the safe house now''he's weak and hurt and yet he want to protect the unharmed me
''I will not go without you''I held firm onto him,it's either both of us or none
he opened his mouth to protest but suddenly a loud bang behind making my eyes widen
