After mastering all thirteen sealing techniques on the scroll, Kakashi finally collapsed into a deep, contented sleep, ready to face the day ahead. Tomorrow would mark his first solo mission outside the village—and it involved searching for the legendary Tsunade!
While the mission itself was secondary, Kakashi's primary goal was to have Tsunade examine his left eye. Resolving the Sharingan issue was of paramount importance to him.

The next morning, Kakashi was surprised to find Rin waiting anxiously at his doorstep.
"Kakashi..."
"Are you going on a solo mission outside the village this time?" Rin asked immediately, her voice filled with concern.
She had learned from Minato Namikaze that Kakashi was leaving the village alone today, which is why she had been waiting for him at his door since dawn.
This was Kakashi's first time leaving the village alone, so naturally, she was nervous!
"Mm!"
Kakashi nodded slightly. He noticed Rin was carrying a lot of medical equipment, including military rations and bandages.
Then he saw Rin's slightly swollen eyes and the faint bloodshot veins in her pupils. He realized she had stayed up all night preparing these supplies for him, and a wave of warmth washed over his heart.
"This is your first time leaving the village alone. I know you don't like carrying useless charms, so I prepared these for you instead!"
Seeing Kakashi nod, Rin immediately handed him the supplies, explaining softly, afraid he might think they were just a burden.

Watching Rin's anxious expression, Kakashi couldn't help but feel deeply moved. He cursed his past self for being such a fool.

Hearing Kakashi thank her for the first time, Rin's mouth dropped open slightly in surprise. She stared at him in disbelief, unsure how to respond to his gratitude.
Seeing Rin's adorably surprised expression, Kakashi couldn't help but smile. He snatched the object from her hand, leaned in close to her ear, whispered something quickly, and vanished in a flash. "I'll ask you out on a date when I get back from the mission!"
"Ah..."
Rin's face flushed crimson as she gasped in surprise. When she looked up, Kakashi's figure had already disappeared into the distance.
Watching his retreating back and replaying his words in her mind, Rin's heart began to pound wildly. Her cheeks burned with a rosy blush, but her eyes sparkled with excitement and joy.
"I... I couldn't have misheard him, right? Kakashi said he'd ask me out on a date when he gets back!"
But soon, doubt crept in, and she murmured uncertainly, her heart wavering between hope and fear. What if she had misheard him? Her heart seemed to follow Kakashi as he disappeared into the distance.
Unaware of the turmoil his words had left behind, Kakashi quickly left the village and sped off in a particular direction.
*Tsunade developed a gambling habit after leaving the village. I'll start by gathering information in the nearby major cities to see if there's any news of her.*
As he raced through the landscape, Kakashi thought to himself.
Kakashi already had a plan for finding Tsunade.
Konoha likely didn't know about Tsunade's gambling addiction, which was why they were struggling to locate her.
Knowing this crucial clue made finding Tsunade much easier for Kakashi.
"Still, finding Tsunade within a month won't be easy," Kakashi murmured heavily. "I wonder if she's even still within the Land of Fire."
The village's mission was paramount. If he failed to find Tsunade within a month, he would have to return to Konoha.
Otherwise, it would give those with ulterior motives an excuse to act.
Kakashi wouldn't mind becoming a rogue ninja, but he couldn't bear to leave Konoha. He couldn't abandon Rin, nor Hinata, who was yet to be born—his greatest love.
If he had to choose his favorite character from the original story, it would undoubtedly be Hinata—timid yet kind, gentle yet fiercely determined.
His teacher's wife, Kushina, was the goddess of his dreams, while Rin was the lover who currently captivated his heart. As for Hinata, Kakashi had no intention of letting her go; he already had a plan in mind.
But this plan hinged on one condition: he couldn't leave Konoha.
For Rin's sake, and for the sake of Hinata—the character he cherished most from the original story—Kakashi would never choose to abandon Konoha and become a rogue ninja.
"Teacher's Wife..." Kakashi murmured, his voice filled with emotion. Having inherited the memories of the original Kakashi, he harbored many fantasies about Kushina. His gaze would often steal glances at her figure. The thought of her dying in the Nine-Tailed Beast's attack next year filled him with melancholy, and he desperately sought a way to save her.
Kushina was the Nine-Tailed Beast's jinchūriki, a target constantly watched by the mysterious Masked Man. Kakashi stood no chance against such an opponent.
He had even considered seizing Kushina from Minato Namikaze before she conceived Naruto. This way, she wouldn't become pregnant, the Nine-Tailed Beast's seal wouldn't weaken, and the Masked Man wouldn't be able to summon the beast from her body, thus preventing her death.
But these were mere fantasies. First, stealing Kushina from his teacher, Minato Namikaze, was virtually impossible. Moreover, while one could catch a thief in a thousand days, there was no way to guard against one for that long.
