Kakashi had already devised a plan to save his teacher's wife, Kushina, after the Nine-Tailed Beast was extracted from her. Executing it would be extremely difficult, but he was determined to succeed, no matter the cost. He vowed to save her life.
"Everything depends on my strength!"
"Worrying about it now is pointless. I need to focus on improving my power first!"
Kakashi muttered resolutely, pushing aside his anxieties and speeding onward.
If he couldn't find Tsunade and resolve the issue with his left Sharingan eye this time, all his efforts would be in vain.
*Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!*
"Clan Head, Kakashi has left the village!"
In the Uchiha Clan compound, an Uchiha subordinate reported respectfully to Uchiha Fugaku.
"Is he alone?" Fugaku's eyes flashed with a sharp glint as he asked the subordinate.
"Yes, Clan Head!"
"Good! You may leave."
Fugaku chuckled heartily and waved the subordinate away.
"Understood, Clan Head!" The Uchiha member bowed respectfully and withdrew.
*Clap! Clap! Clap!*
After the Uchiha member left, Uchiha Fugaku clapped his hands sharply.
The crisp sound echoed through the room.
*Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!*
Almost immediately after Fugaku's clap, three figures materialized before him.
"The target has left Konoha. Pursue him immediately! Kill him without fail. The Sharingan of our Uchiha Clan must never fall into the hands of outsiders!"
Fugaku commanded in a low, menacing voice, his eyes flashing with a cold, sinister light as he glared at the three figures.
During the previous incident, Fugaku had been forced to publicly acknowledge Kakashi's possession of the Sharingan due to pressure from the Third Hokage, the Golden Flash Minato Namikaze, and two advisors.
But this was merely a facade. If he couldn't reclaim the Sharingan openly, he would resort to covert methods.
Fugaku had long been monitoring Kakashi's every move.
He was even aware of Kakashi's entry into the Konoha Anbu. While he dared not act within the village, Kakashi's previous mission had been with a team, preventing Fugaku from striking. Now that Kakashi had left Konoha alone, Fugaku would seize this opportunity to reclaim the Sharingan without hesitation.
"Yes, Clan Head!"
"We will complete this mission!"
"We will never allow the Sharingan of the Uchiha Clan to fall into the hands of outsiders!"
The three Uchiha clansmen standing before Fugaku spoke in unison. As members of the Uchiha Clan, they valued their clan's honor as much as their own lives. When Fugaku privately informed them that Kakashi possessed the Sharingan, they had been itching to act, but Fugaku had restrained them, urging them to wait for the right opportunity.
Now that opportunity had arrived, their eyes gleamed with a cold, predatory light. They would not consider themselves true members of the Uchiha Clan until they retrieved the Sharingan from Kakashi.
"Excellent! All three of you are elites of the Uchiha Clan. I trust you completely. Make sure your actions are clean and discreet—the Konoha upper echelons must never suspect our involvement!" Fugaku nodded approvingly, satisfied with the intensity in their eyes.
"Yes, Clan Head!"
"Good. Depart immediately. Shadow Kakashi closely, seize the first opportunity, and do not fail!"
Uchiha Fugaku reiterated solemnly, "Yes, Clan Head!"
*Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!*
The three men respectfully acknowledged Uchiha Fugaku's command and vanished in a flash.
"Konoha's White Fang's son... Hmph, you've brought this upon yourself by coveting what you shouldn't have!" Fugaku sneered coldly as he watched them depart.

"I'm being followed! What's going on?"
Kakashi, who was traveling at high speed, quickly sensed someone tailing him. His brow furrowed slightly as he tensed, his senses sharpening.
Unsure of the number or strength of his pursuers, he dared not stop.
"Kamishaku-dō is just ahead. I'll enter the town first."
Unable to determine whether his pursuers were friend or foe, or their numbers and capabilities, Kakashi decided to enter the nearby town of Kamishaku-dō.
The town's bustling streets and crowded markets would provide ample cover to shake off his pursuers.
Kakashi's mission was to find Tsunade. He wanted to avoid unnecessary combat that might slow his progress.
An injury sustained in battle would only hinder his journey.
*Whoosh!*
After making up his mind, Kakashi quickened his pace. In less than half an hour, he entered Kamishaku-dō, the town ahead.
*Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!*
As Kakashi entered Kamishaku-dō, three figures appeared at the town gate.
They were the three Uchiha Clan members sent by Uchiha Fugaku to retrieve Kakashi's left Sharingan eye.
However, the trio was no longer wearing clothing bearing the Uchiha Clan crest. Instead, they wore ordinary ninja attire and had removed their Konoha headbands, giving them the appearance of wandering shinobi.
"He's spotted us and entered Kamishaku-dō. What do we do?"
"With so many people inside, it'll be difficult to find him!"
The three stopped, one of them frowning as he spoke.
"Don't worry! He can't escape! As long as he carries our Uchiha Clan's Sharingan, he can't evade our pursuit. If we can't find him in this crowded town, we'll just wait for him to come out!"
The Uchiha member in the middle spoke dismissively.
"Heh, exactly!"
"I almost forgot about your Sharingan's ability to sense other Sharingan among our clan!"
The first Uchiha member chuckled.
