Just as Shan returned to the village, he was immediately confronted by Huo's question. Learning that Leader Maple and all their companions had vanished, Shan exclaimed in shock!
The thing he'd been dreading had still happened!
His mission to seek support from Denin Village had failed. After pleading for help there for an entire day to no avail, he could only return dejectedly. He'd been hoping on the way back that the leaders wouldn't be in trouble, but it still happened!
"It's Konoha's Anbu!"
"Konoha's Anbu is trying to destroy our village!"
Shan then spoke with gritted teeth, explaining the reason. His tone was filled with resentment towards Konoha and also towards Denin Village for not helping. He was simply furious and unwilling to accept it!

"It's Konoha's Anbu..."
"Konoha, one of the Five Great Shinobi Villages…"
"My gathering of information on Konoha and the Land of Fire has been discovered!"
Upon hearing Shan's words, the Denin Village ninjas all widened their eyes in shock, exclaiming in surprise!
Their hearts skipped a beat. They hadn't expected ninjas from Konoha to come to their village, and furthermore, members of Konoha's legendary Anbu!
"Go, let's leave here immediately!"
"The leader may have already been sacrificed. The enemy is surely in hiding, waiting for us all to return to kill us. Now, while the enemy still doesn't know that all our ninjas have returned to the village, everyone scatter and run!"
A glint flashed in the eyes of the Jonin, Huo, as he spoke to all the ninjas!
"What about the villagers?"
Shan was startled upon hearing this and immediately asked!
"Hmph, at a time like this, how can we care about the villagers? The enemy probably won't attack ordinary villagers!"
Huo snorted, "Listen to me, you won't go wrong. Run for your lives! Maybe you can survive, and there will be plenty of chances to take revenge on Konoha later. Now is not the time to be brave!"

After Huo finished speaking, he didn't wait for the others to react. In an instant, he flashed away and dashed towards the village entrance!
"Lord Huo is right!"
"Let's get out of here quickly!"
"Yes! Run away quickly!"
The other Denin ninjas, seeing the situation, were immediately moved and all echoed in agreement, only Shan looked at everyone in anger!

Ten minutes later, not a single ninja remained alive in the entire Denin Village. All that were left were terrified villagers, some dragging their families, and others fleeing alone, ignoring the lives of their families!
"I almost died on this mission! You all deserve to die!"
Kakashi swung his katana, shaking the blood off the blade, and then gave the surrounding villagers a cold smile!
He then began to slaughter the villagers.
Cries of agony echoed throughout Denin Village!
"No... please don't kill me..."
A boy of only about ten years old looked at Kakashi with terrified eyes, begging for mercy, his face filled with fear. The boy had delicate features, and looked like a promising young child!
Seeing the terrified look on the ten-year-old boy's face, Kakashi hesitated with the blade in his hand. In the end, he couldn't bring himself to strike!
"Forget it, kill the others first, then the kid and the woman!"
Letting the young boy off for the moment, Kakashi sighed inwardly. He turned, intending to kill the other villagers first. Maybe, by the end, he would be able to steel himself to kill this boy!
There were other kids and women!
"Die! Give me back my brother's life..."
However, the moment Kakashi turned, the terror in the ten-year-old boy's eyes vanished, replaced by intense anger and hatred. Shouting at Kakashi, the boy's hand inexplicably held a Kunai, which he fiercely thrust towards Kakashi's back!
Swoosh!
The boy's attack quickly found its mark, the Kunai piercing deeply into Kakashi's back!
The little brat watched as the Kunai in his hand pierced Kakashi's back. A feeling of satisfaction flashed through his eyes; he had personally killed this hateful enemy!
Bang!
In an instant, the little brat's eyes were filled with shock. Because the Kakashi in front of him had turned into a puff of white mist and dispersed with a bang, leaving only a wooden stake behind!
"Indeed, you can't be too merciful to enemies!"
"Even if the opponent is a little brat or a woman, it's the same!"
Kakashi's cold voice then rang out behind the little brat. At this moment, Kakashi's eyes gleamed with icy, furious killing intent. He hadn't expected that when he was not ruthless enough and hesitated to attack the little brat, the other party would use the Kunai in his hand to kill him!
This made Kakashi realize in an instant. Enemies could only ever be enemies. There shouldn't be any thoughts of mercy towards enemies.
