After remaining on Namek long enough, Kami Piccolo knew he could not stay any longer. He contacted Vegeta on Earth and, with the help of Vegeta's Instant Transmission, returned to Earth.
Once back, Kami Piccolo learned through Mr. Popo everything that had occurred on Earth during his absence.
What shocked him most was not merely the chain of unexpected events, but the fact that they were connected to artificial monsters from twenty years in the future.
That realization triggered an intense sense of crisis within him.
The more he thought about it, the more uneasy he became.
He feared that Earth might eventually become nothing more than Vegeta's playground.
Vegeta was simply too powerful.
Especially now that Vegeta had chosen to settle on Earth and form a household with Bulma, a once in a generation anomaly, Kami Piccolo grew even more concerned about Earth's future.
One was an overwhelmingly powerful alien warrior who could never truly belong to Earth.
The other was Earth's greatest genius, a scientist capable of creating a time machine.
These two uncontrollable variables coming together pushed Earth's risk level to an extreme.
There was no longer any truly powerful force capable of restraining Vegeta.
Even with Goku and the others present, the gap remained far too large.
While on Namek, Kami Piccolo had spoken with Goku more than once. From those conversations, he understood one thing clearly.
Catching up to Vegeta in any meaningful sense was not easy.
Because while Goku continued to grow stronger, Vegeta was doing the same, and at a terrifying pace.
At that point, the decision Kami Piccolo had been wavering over finally became firm.
Earth needed powerful warriors to protect it.
It did not need an aging and increasingly irrelevant God.
His only remaining value now was allowing Earth to continue using the Dragon Balls.
And even that was no longer unique, because Dende was fully capable of creating Dragon Balls as well.
All that remained was to wait for the crisis on Namek to completely end. After that, Kami Piccolo would guide Dende. Once Dende became Earth's new Guardian, Piccolo and Kami would finally reunite as one.

Days passed one after another.
More than a month after Kami Piccolo returned to Earth, the date arrived.
Age 763, May 20.
Exactly half a year had passed since Vegeta killed Frieza.
While training, Vegeta suddenly sensed a powerful surge of energy coming from Namek.
One aura was unmistakable. Goku, now a Super Saiyan.
Another aura felt extremely similar to Frieza and King Cold.
There was no doubt.
Cooler had arrived.
After such a long journey, Cooler finally reached Namek and clashed with Goku and the others.
Judging purely by aura alone, Goku's strength had already surpassed Cooler's.
Cooler was strong, but a prepared Goku was clearly stronger.
Within Vegeta's perception, an intense battle unfolded between the two.
The fight lasted a long time before Goku finally killed Cooler.
As for Cooler's elite squad and the soldiers who accompanied him to Namek, they were all eliminated by the other fighters stationed there.
Vegeta sensed everything.
But he did not go to watch.
With Instant Transmission, he could have arrived instantly, but he had no interest.
If this had happened months earlier, Cooler's arrival might have intrigued him.
But now?
Cell had already died by his hand.
To Vegeta, Cooler was nothing more than a relic discarded by the era.

With Vegeta's approval, Hera and the command staff initiated a mandatory campaign against all former Frieza Force base planets.
There were only two choices.
Submit and be reorganized.
Or be destroyed.
Among nearly a hundred base planets, most had already surrendered.
The few that resisted were dealt with by force.
That task fell to Rallo and Chris, who led their troops to suppress them.
As for Nappa, his growth rate was indeed fast.
Under Vegeta's brutal training, each cycle of severe injury and recovery caused his power to surge.
Still, Vegeta's standards were far higher.
Even though Nappa's battle power had surpassed two hundred thousand, it was still meaningless at this stage.
Without even one million power, how could he face the powerful warriors hidden across special planets?
Even Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, and Chiaotzu were already fighters in the several million range.

Inside a standalone circular structure.
This was Vegeta's training ground over the past month.
It was also a super gravity training chamber, built over the course of a week by Bulma, Dr. Brief, and a team of alien subordinates.
Its sole purpose was to allow Vegeta to train on Earth.
In truth, it was Bulma who insisted.
Vegeta understood. She did not want him constantly traveling between planets.
If something happened, she might not even be able to reach him.
And in Bulma's view, now that they were together, she did not want him disappearing without a word.
As Vegeta shut down the gravity system, the five hundred times gravity environment returned to normal.
