SHIRO : "Fuck."
The two stare at the newly grown beast; it has a large torso, with its ribs puncturing its own skin. It had skinny limbs, but it was able to support its massive torso; its head was still as small as a regular human's.
KUI : "I TOLD YOU TO ACTIVATE YOUR BEAST ABILITY SHIT!"
- Kui screams with fear in his voice.
SHIRO : "I DON'T KNOW HOW IT WORKS!"
The beast was on all fours. It stretched its neck as its head went down to face Shiro.
"EAT."
It then attempted to bite Shiro's shoulder, but it was stopped by him stepping backwards and slashing the beast's face with Kui's sword.
The beast retracted its head as it looked down at Shiro and Kui ominously. It began to scream while stretching its arms as it swayed them around.
KUI : "AAAAAAHHHHHH!!"
Kui screams as he runs away from the swaying arms, giving him distance from the beast and Shiro.
SHIRO : "CALM THE FUCK DOWN!"
The beast then smashed the ground around them as it released debris into the air.
SHIRO : "SHIT!"
He says as he dodges the debris and the impacts of the smash.
"I gotta find a way to activate my ability before this thing kills us!""Wait a minute.."
He gets flashbacks of how his ability only activates whenever he's on the verge of death.
The time he was about to be eaten by a beast, during the time his travel towards Chiba.
The time he lost half of his face, when he first met Kui.
Suddenly, he pierces his torso and his eyes using Kui's sword, as he pukes out blood.
KUI : "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"
Kui says as he watches Shiro pierce himself.
SHIRO : "I DON'T KNOW! BUT MAYBE THIS IS HOW MY ABILITY WORKS!"
Kui looks at him with disbelief and complete shock in his eyes.
KUI : "YOU'RE CRAZY! WHAT IF IT DOESN'T!?"
Shiro looks at him, as he's still bleeding severely.
SHIRO : "THEN I'M FUCKING DEAD! WHAT DO YOU THINK, DUMBASS?!"
The beast suddenly stretches one of its arms as it pierces through Shiro's torso. He pukes blood onto the beast's hand while it's still pierced in his torso.
It then stretches its head and neck and takes a bite off of Shiro's part of the head where he pierced Kui's sword.
Suddenly..
Shiro's head began to generate horns in his eyes, which spiraled up towards his head. His arms began to grow horns as well, which were pointing downwards.
"HAHAHA! IT WORKED!"
He pierces the beast's head that was still biting off his head, as it retracted its head back to its body.
BEAST : "HUAA!? WHAT ARE YOU?!"
Shiro stares at the beast in shock.
SHIRO : "YOU CAN TALK?!"
BEAST : "DIE! DIE! DIE!"
The beast began to grow more arms from its torso, as it stretched and rushed towards Shiro.
Shiro dodged, pierced, and even took a bite of some of its arms that rushed towards him.
SHIRO : "YOU'RE EVEN TASTIER THAN I THOUGHT!"
Kui looks at Shiro, in total shock and disbelief.
KUI : "What the fuck kind of beast did I hire..?"
Shiro rushes towards the beast and begins to pierce and slash it using the thorns that grew in his arms.
He jumped towards the top of the beast's body, as he dug through its torso using the thorns in his arms.
SHIRO : "HEHEHEHAHA!"
The beast screams in agony.
BEAST : "HUA?! WHAT ARE YOU..?!'
SHIRO : "SHUT UP! YOU'RE MY DAMN MEAL NOW!"
He says as he's dug halfway through the beast's torso.
Shiro takes a bite of the beast's flesh from the inside of where he dug in.
SHIRO : "YOU'RE ONE TASTY BEAST!"
Kui stares at the slaughtering Shiro is making on the beast.
KUI :"What the fuck…"
…
After a while, the slaughtering ended. Shiro stands inside the beast's dug-up torso as its body begins to melt into ashes.
KUI : "Is it over..?"
He pants, his body's thorns began to melt into ashes as well. He slumps over and passes out.
The beast's torso fully melted into ashes, and Shiro fell over as it completely disappeared.
Kui sees this as he rushes over towards Shiro.
KUI : "HE'S KNOCKED OUT AGAIN!"
Kui grabs out a yellow injector, the same one he used when he first met Shiro. He injects it into Shiro's pulse at his neck.
Shiro wakes up, and he gasps as he pants for air.
He looks up at Kui.
SHIRO : "Did I kill it..?"
KUI : "You slaughtered it."
Shiro looks back to where the beast was, what's left was just ashes.
SHIRO : "Thank god.."
…
"Kui, what trouble did you get yourself into now..?"
Kui gasps, the voice was familiar.
He looks behind him to see the entirety of his division was staring at him and Shiro.
KUI : "Ah.. shit."
Shiro looks at them. There was a man in the middle with an eyepatch, a girl behind him, resting her arm on the man's left shoulder while having a cigarette in her mouth. A tall man behind the girl with blonde hair, and lastly, a man with glasses on the right side of the man who was eating a Pocky stick.
"Who are you guys..?"
