While officer Nate came towards Elvis before standing beside him to tell something important.
"The XO rumour have spread like blaze overnight through all the famous news channels, newspapers and social media...and in large amount of numbers people have come out on the road and blocked the highways, police stations, court and many more places to protest about it like zombies, which is becoming increasingly difficult to handle." He informed him in a low voice without looking at Elvis who remained silent, because he already knew it was definitely going to happen.
Because it was he himself on whose command, this rumour spread so rapidly overnight with the biggest help of the state government. The news of psycho criminal XO, that he was caught after finding all strict evidence and proof against him that he was the XO and he was currently in the lock up of Seoul Gangnam police station, which was true because the police had actually caught him based on all the evidence given by Detective Elvis.
And because of Elvis's exploit, the state government was quite impressed with how he had found XO in just one night with all the evidence. It was the state government who knew that Elvis was given the XO case to solve because they themselves had assigned this case to him a day before. And they themselves ordered to keep this thing a secret from everyone for now that Elvis was now assigned to XO case and this thing will be revealed when he would solve the case. Zane was driving the car at high speed while avoiding the police vehicles behind his car, while driving rapidly and hitting all the vehicles that came in his way without even caring about them. He was keeping an eye on the front window mirror from time to time to check how close the police vehicles came to him.

He completely understood that the person sitting in that black car didn't care if Zane's car would collide with that person's car. The person only wanted to stop his car, no matter in what way.
For once it came to his mind that he should hit that black car but he didn't want to waste his valuable time by crashing his car with that black car. Because at that time, the car in which he was sitting was in dire need to disappear from the sight of police immediately and then he had to abandon this car somewhere and run away. But now as he hadn't stopped his car, his car was about to collide with that black car, but at the right moment, he turned his car to the other side before driving his car faster than before, leaving that black car behind.
But as soon as he did so, he saw that the black car was chasing his car again at lightning speed. Zane had understood that because the model of that black car was advanced, it could drive at a very higher speed than the police car he was sitting at and driving to run away. He increased the speed of his car and started driving faster.
5 minutes had passed and he had completely dodged the police vehicles and reached a far place where not many vehicles were running, almost not. He should have been a little relieved because of this and should have immediately left the car right there in which he was sitting and run away. But neither was he able to get even the slightest relief and neither was he able to run away by leaving his car there. Suddenly he jerked his head down when he heard the sound of the gunshot. That damn black car person came so close to his car and started to shoot at his car. Increasing the speed, he turned the car to the right quickly, following the road and reaching on a bridge.
He was successful in dodging those bullets three to four times but for the fifth time, he realised that his car had become almost unbalanced because that black car person shot directly at the tyre of his car. And without wasting more seconds, the black car person immediately shot the another tyre of Zane's car again, making his car totally unbalanced.
Due to deflating tires, his car started to skid at high speed on the bridge road and started making very irritating noise while creating a small cloud of smoke around itself. Seeing this, he immediately reduced the speed of his car. And his car, while skidding on the road of the bridge halted far away, right in front of the railing at the right moment before his car would fall down the bridge along with him by breaking the railing of the bridge.
Holding the steering wheel tightly, breathing heavily, he was looking at his front in aghast, thinking if his car had not stopped at the right moment, he would have definitely fallen off the bridge. Suddenly his expression gradually chaned into outraged. With a jerk, he opened the car door and stepped out of the car, slamming the door behind. While the heavy rain drops quickly started to wet him.
And as soon as he turned his head towards that black car, he saw that the black car was coming towards him at lightning speed, making him stunned at his place and stopped his breath. And after staring and wondering for a few seconds, he immediately guessed that the unknown person was none other than the Killer who was killing criminals one by one to only hunt him down.
He chuckled in shockness because eventually the Killer himself was in front of his eyes about whom he wanted to know, for whom he always cleverly goes to all the crime scenes where he killed the criminals and left the XO mark on their foreheads. He was getting a little bliss from inside for the fact that, without seeing the Killer's face and without asking the person himself, he identified the person that he was the Killer. Which was totally correct.
Closing the door, the Killer quickly made his way towards Zane before without giving a slightest chance to Zane to run, he pointed the gun right on Zane's temple of head, making him freeze at his place, but the fact that he wasn't showing it from outside that he was afraid.
Zane was very impressed that finally there was someone in this world who was successful in scaring him.
They both were getting wet in the rain but the difference was the Killer was in raincoat and the Zane was standing open in rain, getting wet completely.
"There is only one bullet left in this gun, if at the moment your luck favors you then you will be killed with that bullet but if not then you will be killed in my style."
The Killer's authoratative voice echoed in his ear and made him astound. He couldn't believe his ears what voice he just heard.

He was staring at Killer's covered face in disbelief. And the next moment the Killer pressed the trigger without any delay. But no bullet came out to blow his skull.
Zane didn't pay much attention to that the Killer already pressed the trigger and no bullet came out. Because staring at the Killer, he was lost in this thought that who the Killer was and why she wanted to kill him. Although it was normal that everyone wanted to catch him and kill him, still he wanted to know the reason of this Killer to had the wish to kill him.

Saying this, in a blink of an eye, she threw the gun down the bridge before completely taking off her raincoat, revealing her clothes, perfect body shape beneath her outfit, hair, and her beautiful hazel eyes. But still her face wasn't fully visible as there was a black mask on her face, the only part was her eyes which was in display.
After looking her eyes for a moment, he got another shock. He was feeling that whether he dies due to any other reason or not, but he will definitely die because of the repeated, unexpected shocks given by the person in front of him. Just by looking at her eyes, he had recognised who she was.
