Selene's POV
I still had my gaze focused on the speeding truck when a pitch-black Maybach parked 10 meters away.
Suspicion arose in me and I directed my gaze toward the car, piercing through the car window and straight to the occupants in the car.
"Leo?" I mumbled as I froze in shock.
That was Leo, I could recognize his shadows and physique even in the dark.
Does this mean he…. Did he do this to a young boy?
Furrowing my gaze at the car, I clenched my fist tight in rage.
Leo wouldn't even let a college student off the hook?
How wicked could he be!
An urge to confront him swirled inside me, but I held it down, I didn't have backup at the moment and I didn't want to take any risk. Connor was my main priority right now.
"Stay with me Connor, please stay with me." I glanced at Connor who was fighting to stay conscious.
