Selene's POV
I stood frozen, as I watched Amelia storm towards me like a wild woman.
"How dare you, place your filthy hands on my mate!" She yelled angrily. Just as she was about to raise her hands to hit me, a loud sound reverberated around the space.
Lucas had slapped Amelia right in front of everyone.
She held her cheek in disbelief, her eyes scanning the room, taking in the number of people staring at us.
"You're hitting me for her? Lucas, I'm your mate!" Amelia shouted, her voice cracking in resentment.
"I have filed for a divorce Amelia." Lucas scowled, his expression darkening. "You're not my mate anymore."
With tears in her eyes, Amelia glared at him. "Even if we haven't gone to court yet, I could still appeal. You think you can just dump me for this bitch? Keep on dreaming!"
It was fun watching a fight without you being involved.
