Chapter 8 - Monsters of the Elite Class3

Her stomach was ripped to pieces, sending her flying. "What kind of power is this? I'm immobilized after a single blow. How ironic! After completing Stage A, which was demonstrating my strength so they would know who ruled here, it's time for Stage B—the stage of rational and civilized speech." "Well, can we speak?" Asteros, who was treating her injuries, and his sister both had shocked and confused expressions on their faces. "Is all this just so we can talk?" I said, feigning innocence, "I wanted to talk to you, but you tried to kill me." "True, we tried to kill you, but who exactly are you?" "Who I am is something I can't talk about right now, but why are you outside my palace? ...Wait a moment while I return to my original form." After a few minutes, I returned to my original form, and my genes were as they had been. "And answer my question: why are you outside my palace?" Asteros said, embarrassed, "Our father ordered us to leave the world of dragons so we could learn more about human mentality." "So that's the reason, then. It seems your father knew everything that happened," I said, while placing his hand on her stomach. My chin twitched. "How did you know he was eavesdropping on us, and by what means?" I pointed at them. "Through your necklace and your brother's ring. How do I know this? It's a secret I can't reveal." Then the Dragon King, who seemed puzzled, asked, "Who is this person? I've never heard of him before in the Dragon World." He said, "His name is Yuta Cassiral. I've heard of this family. The family was wiped out under mysterious circumstances, leaving only two members, Yuta and Seri. Rumors say that his genes were tampered with by the head of the family, making him 40% dragon, 30% demon, and 30% angel. But how does he possess all this power? I must make him my ally at any cost." I headed towards my room, and as I wandered around, I developed a severe headache. Blood began to trickle from my head for no logical reason. I had become accustomed to the illogical injuries I sustained. Someone would get hurt, and I had to share their pain. I felt a certain familiarity in this academy and area, as if I had visited it before. But when and how? It was strange that I was just an eight-year-old girl. Ignoring these strange memories belonging to the original owner, I headed to my room to find relief from these strange feelings and sensations. The next day, during a swordsmanship class, our supervisor spoke enthusiastically, "Students, you will be practicing with real swords—in other words, you will be training with your own swords—and we will begin tomorrow, understood?" In unison, we shouted, "Understood, Master!" He directed us to the training center. "Let's see your current abilities. The first competitors are Yuta and Lucy." After several minutes in the fighting arena, Lucy said, "You're the one who wanted to fight me, right?" She pointed her sword at me with a confident smile. "Yes, I'm the one who wanted to fight you and asked the Master for it. Are you afraid, Yuta?" "You're funny. I'm afraid of you. Let's begin," said the Master, annoyed by our chatter. "Begin!" We launched at high speed. "You're so slow, Lucy!" I skillfully dodged all of Lucy's attacks. Lucy launched at high speed, veins visible on her forehead, directing her gray aura at the blade of her sword, which began to turn light blue.

[Strike] [Moon Blades]

A sly smile spread across my face. "You arrogant Lucy."

[Strike: King's Hands 12]

A dark aura shot from my sword blade. We launched at high speed. The clash of the two attacks was incredibly powerful, resulting in a massive explosion.

Boom! Boom!

After the dust settled, they found Lucy lying on the ground, her training sword broken. Shock was etched on her face as she stared at her shattered sword. "How could I lose to him again? How could a mere X-ranker defeat me when I'm a Saint? He might be higher than the rank he shows everyone." After a while, we headed to the next class, a monster contracting session. "Hello, students. I'm the instructor who will be teaching you how to contract with monsters to help you in the battles you'll be fighting. Has anyone contracted with a monster?" she said, a beautiful smile on her face. Lucy and I spoke in unison. She turned to me with an admiring smile. "Okay, Yuta Cassiral, who are you contracted with?" "I'm contracted with the Asgard Dragon, nicknamed Locker." Gray, who was a little angry, started calling me a liar. "Stop lying! How could someone of Rank X contract with Asgard?" A huge, unsettling smile of confidence appeared. "Really? Let's see if I'm lying or not. Asgard, come out!" A great dragon emerged, hundreds of times larger than the training ground. It was a dark blue dragon. "Yes, sir." I looked at it anxiously, fearing the destruction of the academy and getting into trouble with it. "First, transform into your human form because in your dragon form you will destroy the entire training area." Asgard spoke with some embarrassment. "Yes, sir, as you wish." He began to revert to his human form, appearing as a young man full of strength and might. The teacher turned to Lucy, a beautiful smile still on her face. "It's your turn, Lucy Kathali." A smile of vanity and arrogance appeared on her features as she pointed a finger at her. "I A contract with the ruler of time, Kimra… "Ruler of Time, I summon you." A beautiful woman with long, shoulder-length hair and golden eyes appeared, wearing gold and white clothes, unlike Asgard's. Her appearance was a testament to perfection. She spoke in a calm and composed tone, "What do you want from me, my contract?" Her gaze was directed at someone who somewhat resembled her. "Azgard, brother, what are you doing here?" Ana and Lucy showed signs of shock, confusion, and dissatisfaction all at once. She spoke in an incoherent tone, "What? But how can this be, Asgard?" He looked at me in surprise. "I consider myself the ruler of space, and she is the ruler of time." A moment of realization came to me, and I understood that it made sense if we thought about it for a moment. "I understand." Lucy, who was incredulous and didn't want to believe what she was hearing, said, "You're joking with me, Kimra. Stop joking." She spoke in a calm tone, ignoring her sobs. "It's the truth. You both consider my contract to be the ruler of spacetime." We accepted the situation quickly; there was no point in making things more complicated. "Okay, no problem." A bright light emanated from my finger and from Lucy's wrist. "What is this?" Chimera began to explain. "It's the Time Lady's bracelet, and he'll get the Space Lord's ring." A distant bark made my heart leap in the training ground. I shook my head. "What's that sound?" Lucy, looking pleased, said, "It's my dog." A shiver ran through me after hearing his words. "I know, but is he coming?" "Yes, he's over there." I turned to find only dust. "Where did Roichi go?" Everyone burst out laughing.
