My friends gathered around me after I turned on the camera to see the
city empty, with no sign of life.
John jumped up and said
"Maybe they're at home because today is a holiday. You're exaggerating,
Han." Ryan intervened to calm things down after his words.
"I don't think so. The stores are open, but there are no salespeople or customers. Usually, when it's a holiday, the place is crowded because people go out and don't stay home like you, John."
How about you analyze me in detail, genius? Han's voice came through the phone.
-You're scaring me. I think I have to go back. This is starting to freak me
out.
He hung up the phone and rushed to the TV to see if there was any
news.
The TV crackled as it turned on, then switched to the news channel, which announced a state of emergency in the city.
"There has been a massive explosion at the city factory, exposing workers to a toxic substance that causes hallucinations and violence. It is spreading rapidly!!! The city has declared a state of emergency!!
Everyone must stay in their homes..." Han entered the house, panting.
"Did you see? Everyone has disappeared. There is no trace of anyone. I went to my house and couldn't find my brother, and my mother wasn't at the hospital either. In fact, there was no trace of any patients or
hospital staff."
John rushed outside to check on the situation and headed to his house. Ian followed him to check on his house as well. Ryan rushed to make a call to check on his parents, but Cairo remained where he was, watching
what was happening in silence...
The rain stopped and the sun came out calmly. John returned after checking on his house to see a strange man walking suspiciously in front of him. He approached him without realizing what was about to happen...As soon as he approached, the man began to shout and act
violently, closing in on John. John couldn't comprehend what was happening, but he defended himself by hitting the man (with a powerful
punch) that knocked him to the ground.
"My God, what's wrong with him? He's getting up again as if I hadn't
touched him?"
Moments later, many people appeared from afar, approaching like madmen, as if they had lost their minds and fought a great war, because their appearance was terrifying and a lot of saliva was flowing from their
mouths! Then I heard Ian's voice behind him.
-John... run, quickly! People start running towards John and Ian to escape.
"What's going on, Ian? Have people gone crazy on their day off?"
"Don't joke around now, run away!" "Look, it's Han. Run, you idiot! What are you doing outside?"
-Aaaah, what is this? Why are they chasing you?
-I don't know. John found them.
-What does that have to do with me? They appeared suddenly, and their
behavior doesn't bode well.
-What is this? Are we in a horror movie? Where can we run?
-To Ryan's house. Hurry, hurry!
-Ian is right, Han. We can't leave the genius alone.
The three of them rush into Ryan's house and close all the doors and windows while the transformed people try to break everything to get in.
In the midst of the chaos, Ryan looks at what is happening and asks in
surprise "What's going on? Where did all these crazy people come from?"
John replied, panting. "Hahaha, you made me laugh despite the horror of what happened."
"We don't know where they came from. I saw John and Ian running with
them behind them." Ian looked at Han and was shocked by what he saw.
"Han, don't move." John looked back and was shocked too.
-My God, where did they come from? Han froze in place and said in shock,
"What's going on? What's going on? What? What?"
Ryan intervened.
"Calm down. Don't move. There's a madman behind you."
Han calmly looked behind him, screamed, and ran forward to get away.
John stepped forward and blocked the man. "My punches aren't very effective."
Hurry up, Ian, get the rope after John secures it so he can tie it.
Calm prevails in the place due to the disaster that has befallen them. Ray
breaks the silence, saying
"We have to study this. What is happening? How can we avoid it? And most importantly, how does it spread so we can avoid it?"
The four gathered to discuss the matter calmly. Ray looked at Cairo.
"Why are you so calm and silent? Are you in shock? Or are you hiding
something?"
Everyone looked at Cairo, waiting for his response, then John interjected,
saying
"I haven't seen him move since all this happened. Are you a wall?
Hahaha." Han looked at John.
"Your jokes are getting sillier every time."
-Ian laughs at my jokes, you don't know anything.
Ian interjected
-Cairo, are you really hiding something? "I'm not hiding anything. You can go ahead and ignore me." John got up to get water from the refrigerator, saying
-Let's leave him alone. I don't even know why he's here.
He took the bottle of water to drink while the transformed man tied up
next to the fridge tried to free himself.
-Do you want some water? Han intervened urgently.
"Leave him and come quickly." John took the water bottle and threw it toward Ian so he could catch it.
"Would you like some water?"
John looked at the transformed human and couldn't control himself. He approached him with the bottle of water in his hand, but strangely, the transformed human began to act strangely, as if he were afraid.
-What, are you afraid of water?
Ryan put his hand on his head after losing patience waiting for John to
speak. "When are you going to get there? I've lost my patience." "Wait, there's something strange about this mutant."
