The next class was supposed to be Carol's, but another professor, Jasper Donovan, walked into the classroom. Jasper was wearing old-fashioned black-framed reading glasses. He was an absolute traditionalist. His lectures had a remarkably soporific effect, yet he maintained notoriously high standards with an alarmingly low pass rate.
Jasper walked up to the podium. After looking around, he didn't say anything else. He even skipped the roll call and entered the teaching stage.
