Brittany peeled out of Starbrook Estate like she was fleeing for her life. If she wasn't such a skilled driver, we would've crashed straight into a tree.
"Baby, next time some dangerous guy shows up, you better warn me ahead of time!" Brittany gasped once we hit a safer stretch of road, still rattled.
I bit back a laugh. "I'll do my best."
