Phoebe's POV
This wasn't the place for a conversation. Orion gestured for the security guard to step back and, with a renewed smile, respectfully addressed Harold. "Mr. Bailey, how about we head to my office and discuss whatever it is you need in a more comfortable setting? Sound good to you?"
As Orion took a few steps forward, trying to get closer to Harold and build some rapport, Alistair stepped in and stopped him.
A single glance from Alistair was enough to leave Orion awkwardly standing in place.
If it weren't for my presence, these people wouldn't even be in the same vicinity as Harold.
Finally, Harold spoke. "I'm just here to accompany Phoebe today. I'll follow her lead."
I caught Alistair's brow twitch. He must be thinking Harold was being bold. If it weren't for the situation, I might have given Harold a piece of my mind.
