Phoebe's POV
Siena and Nadia froze for a split second after my outburst, then scrambled toward Alice like she'd been hit by a truck. The girl was hunched over, clutching her back dramatically.
"Alice, you okay?" they fussed, voices dripping with concern.
"Phoebe, how could you lay hands on her? That's so low!" Siena whirled on me, finger jabbing in my direction.
"We were trying to have a civilized conversation. You blow us off, then throw punches the moment you don't like what you hear? Seriously, how could you be so rude?" Nadia jumped in, her voice razor-sharp.
"My back hurts so bad," Alice whined, crocodile tears rolling down her cheeks. She wasn't entirely faking it—my shove had definitely rattled her, and I could see her back was already turning red.
From the look on her face, I could guess what she was thinking: probably something like 'Is this girl even human? What kind of woman hits that hard?'
