Phoebe's POV
A few minutes later, I threw my backpack over my shoulder, stuck in my earbuds, and walked out.
The campus was only a short walk if I took the shortcuts through the side streets, though getting from the main gates to the infirmary would eat up quite a while longer.
Even so, I took my time, hands shoved deep in my pockets, moving at a leisurely pace. I had no clue where the infirmary even was and had to dig out my phone to check the Clearwater University map.
Turns out the infirmary sat pretty close to the Traditional Medicine girls' dorm.
I connected the dots: Alice and her little gang must've made a beeline for the infirmary to get her back examined before running to tattle on me to the advisor.
Though I seriously doubted they'd take this to Brian—the only Traditional Medicine advisor on duty today. By now, they'd figured out that Brian had a soft spot for me.
