Phoebe's POV
Harold's expression grew menacing. "So that was his strategy... pull you down with him, regardless of what it costs?"
The moment those words left his lips, Harold's entire demeanor shifted to ice-cold fury. His face hardened as he reached for his phone. "Malcolm, track down Jeremy right now—"
"Harold, hold on," I cut him off quickly. "Don't eliminate him just yet. I still have use for him."
His voice stayed arctic, but he paused for me. "He attempted to murder you. We can't let him breathe much longer."
I gave him a firm nod. "I get it. Trust me, I'm not planning to keep him around indefinitely. Just give me some more time—there's something I need to verify first."
Only then did Harold signal Malcolm to halt the pursuit of Jeremy.
"Harold, calm down. Between you, me, and everyone else watching in Clearwater, Jeremy's movements are completely monitored. He won't cause any more chaos now," Alan chimed in.
