Alan realized this wasn't the moment to cause more trouble. "Yeah, you think Harold doesn't want to crush the Bailey family members once and for all? But there's still Mr. Mitchell who is stuck in the middle, and the old man can't take any more shocks," he said.
I could see him thinking it over, and based on his expression, he was likely wondering why someone with Harold's scheming personality would have let Katie's family act so arrogantly for so long. From what I knew of the situation, Katie had probably kicked the hornet's nest this time, and she had no idea that if she even tried to go after me, Harold would wipe out her entire family without hesitation.
Lucas threw his hands up in frustration. "Come on, you think I don't know that? That's exactly why I said if Harold can't make a move, I'll handle it for him. That way, Toby Bailey won't go running to Mitchell to whine again."
