When Charlies said that, no matter how I listened, it just sounded off. And when he got to the part about "taking her out," his eyes were practically sparkling with mischief.
It was obvious he was dead serious and sincere about it. Clear as day that he despised Katie.
I knew Charlies wasn't the violent or aggressive type, so I asked curiously, "What's the story? You really can't stand her?"
Charlies's face scrunched up, pure distaste written all over it as he spoke about Katie.
"Who could possibly like her? Out of everyone in the Bailey family, Toby's bunch is absolutely the worst.
I'm telling you, every single time I go back to the Bailey Mansion, they're the ones giving me the hardest time.
