Armand trembled on his knees, his voice cracking with desperation. "I'm telling the truth! I don't know a damn thing! Mr. Ellis, please show some mercy... just let me walk away!" Terror consumed him as he slammed his forehead against the concrete floor, begging Luca through broken sobs.
Street thugs like Armand would grovel, cry, even call a stranger "daddy" if it meant staying alive another day.
Luca flicked ash from his cigarette. "Finish it."
Extended torture had pushed Armand past his breaking point. A coward like him would've cracked by now if he actually knew something useful.
Time to stop wasting effort.
