Phoebe's POV
I was determined to get Harriet the justice she deserved.
Nearly every student in this class had joined in isolating and tormenting Harriet, while the school and teachers looked the other way.
Some of the weaker-willed students, faced with my unwavering presence and Harold's intimidating aura, realized they couldn't hide their bullying of Harriet any longer. They'd already clustered together, shaking like leaves.
I could see Orion sweating profusely by the door. Having everything exposed like this was mortifying, especially with students and teachers from nearby classrooms gawking at the spectacle. If this dragged on, there'd be no graceful way out.
Harold clearly understood Orion's predicament, but he remained planted where he stood, refusing to give Orion an opening to speak.
Since Harold stayed silent, Orion didn't dare ask me to leave either. He could only silently pray I'd show mercy and take the girls out of the classroom.
