"Are you ready?"
"Yes!"
I stood there, waiting for Rachael to give me instructions.
She had her brown hair tied into a pony, had a tshirt and track pants which very very tight.
I didn't know where to look because my eyes were drawn to her plump a**.
But, i calmed myswlf down and started listening to her explanations.
I'm better than this!
I said to myself as i started gaining my concentration.
"First, Let's awaken the Mana points."
She stated, as she started looking around my body.
"There are multiple mana points in your body like nerves that lead to your heart."
She continued
"Starting from your heart to your hand there are about 200 points. Your goal is to break 10 points a day."
I was rather taken aback by her declaration of there being 200 points and i had to awaken 10 a day.
"After you do that, It'll take you about 20 days to start using mana. After which, Your capacity and control slowly increase."
Why was i not told of all this when i actually participated in hunting?
did they think i knew all this or was there some other reason.
"I see... I understand."
"Remember, Don't force it... If you do, you might perminantly damage your points."
That scared me a bit but i still replied calmly.
"Mhm!"
"It will take a while, but start from your heart and slowly open the points. You'll feel your mana coming up slowly..."
She satted and so i started concentrating.
My heart?
I started concentrating hard on my heart
I felt something hot, burning inside me.
"Yes... that's itt... push it out, slowly!"
She touched my chest as she patted my back.
A slow gust if wind blew as i felt a clicking sound come from inside my head.
"Wow... you are good a t this!"
She satted.
"Now slowly, let it pass your body."
And so i did exactly that.

after about 2 hours, i felt like i heard the 10th click and i fell on my ass.
With a thud sound.
"Good work! It took you a while but you did excellent job. 10 of your points are out so, you should go and rest a bit."
She stated.
U didn't wanna get up from this sweet spot so i just slept on the ground.
as i yawned.
"Well, it should be fine i guess."
She stated, as she too sat down on the chair in the garden.
The garden's moisture was good and cold so i immediatly fell asleep.

"Oii! It's been iver 2 hours! Get upp!!"
Someone woke me up from my deep sleep and i slowly got up.
I yawned as i stretched my body to remove all the laziness and stiffness i felt.
"It's time for lunch!!"
"Yaa... I'm coming!!"
I have to make lunch so i better get up.
and so i got up and walked towards the kitchen.
Rachael went towards the 2nd floor while i walked towards Kania.
"Hey Vade, you are late."
"Sorry, haha! I was in deep sleep. I'll take over."
I stated as i took over the vegetables and cutter from her and started cutting.
"You really are fast with your hands aren't you."
She asekd, as she looked at my cutting skills.
"Well, i was part of the ar- Well, i have my experiences. I've been cooking since i was a kid."
Cooking is a life skill in the army and there wasn't anyone better at cooking than me.
"Well, you do cook really well afterall."
she stated, as she took the spare knife and helped me cut the vegetables.
after chattibg for a bit and cooking together, we finally prepared the meal.
I set it on the table, sibce she did most of the work.
I told Kania to sit, stating that i'd serve today.
"I can't fo that Vade... i am the maid of the house."
"For me, you are just another member of the house. I don't like the idea of you sitting and serving while the others eat... it reminds me of someone i know."
I stated with a sad face.
My family back in my other life was also poor so, everyone would make my mother cook or do anythibg else no matter whose house we went to.
While everyone did their shit, my mother would always be in the kitchen.
Since i was unemployed i had nothing i could say to refute and i felt so utterly defeated as a son every single time.
It's thanks to my mother's 2nd sister that things are someowhat fine.
She always supported my mother but the other 2 were... people i really disliked.
They treated my mother like a slave.
I felt so satisfied when i saw their faces as a successful armed officer.
They couldn't believe a timid, worthless guy like me had becone an army officer.
Also the fkrs who made fun of my dream of being an armed officer back in college...
They too got a slap on their faces.
When i came to the reunion as a major.
I wasn't justa. soldier butsomeone holding a high position.
I wonder if it was because of their curses that i ended up dying.
"I can't do it, please you sit."
"Please, Let's just take days where one of us sits while the other sefves ok?"
In all honesty, it was either us to
wo eating together or me eating alone.
I'd never let her eat by herself.
"mmm..."
"Since he's insisting so much why don't you sit and eat with us Kania?"
"Young lady?"
Amelia asked Kania and it was obviously decided what would happen now.
"Yes, Young Lady..."
It was obviously true that she wanted to eat with the others.
It was also true that the others wanted to eat with her aswell.
from the outside it might look like a master servant relationship but from inside i know that they are really good friends and don't treat her like a maid.
This is also another reason why i cannot hate them.
If they hated me, i knew that i was obviously at fault...
Because they do not hate people very easily.
Still... That doesn't mean i have any intention of staying with them.
Our relationship cannot be mended...
I mean... it's not like they want our relationship to be mended.
In all honesty... Chloe doesn't seem the least bit happy about me coming back.
Look at the displeasure in her eyes blatently disgutsed by my very existance.
I've been trying to ignore it... but it really is impossible...
To ignore that much malice.
It feels like she'll stab me in my sleep, that women.
