Saying that, Danzo started leaving.

And I went inside and started packing for deployment.
I have brought some time, and an excuse to contact Fugaku without drawing Danzo's suspicion.
After packing, I went to the village gate.

In fact, I am the only Jonin here. Ah... I have to lead 7 other people despite this being my first mission after transmigration.

Since OG Kakashi didn't encounter Kakuzu or any Akatsuki, if it had formed by this time, he shouldn't encounter such opponent as well.

Danzo was pleased by how the meeting with Kakashi turned out.
It seems like Minato has led that boy astray in thinking that he is some fishy guy who harms the village. That might try to do something to Jinchuriki.
He did try to force Kushina into entering the Third Ninja War and rampage like other Jinchurikis, so it's understandable that Minato and Kushina must have fed his head with utter rubbish, especially regarding Jinchuriki.
So recruiting him into ROOT right now will be difficult.
But, Kakashi is suspicious of Uchiha clan. He most likely left ANBU so that he can investigate in secret by himself. He must have thought that ANBU wouldn't spy on Uchiha clan.
He is definitely a genius, but he is still naive.
And he has changed. If previously, he was soaked in darkness and trying to end himself on a mission, he is now aiming for revenge.
And that mindset will make it easier for Danzo.
So for now, he decided to focus on Orochimaru. A boy has actually survived Hashirama cells implantation, and gained wood release. Orochimaru doesn't know about it.
But Orochimaru's main focus has shifted to his own research for immortality, and his interest in Hashirama cells have decreased.
So he will see if it is time to dispose him off.
But more importantly, he has taken an interest in Shisui and Itachi. The geniuses of Uchiha clan, on par with Kakashi.
He needs to recruit them to properly destroy the Uchiha clan in the coming years.
Or nip them in the bud.
Itachi is in the village, but it's worth testing Shisui, who has gone to Kiri front. He already has two tomoe Sharingan at the age of 8.
Meanwhile, a White Zetsu following Kakashi reported what happened today to Obito.
