Paimon: "Navia!"
Navia was crouched on the ground.
"Myles and Sylph... they're not coming back. I—I don't know what to do...?"
Lumine and Paimon's expressions grew heavy.
Navia: "The rescue plan was something we all approved together, but in the end, I was the one who pushed it forward. They stayed behind too long to help evacuate the remaining residents... and then the tide swallowed them."
Paimon (panicked): "W-We—what should we do?!"
Navia sobbed. "I've known them for so many years... I know they never feared danger. But—but even if it were my father, at least his body was found. We could hold a funeral... but Myles and Sylph... they're just... gone. Completely... I can't accept it..."
[In the livestream, Navia watching the scene could no longer hold back her tears. Many of the other viewers seemed to think of their own losses as well.]
[Yae Miko: "Kitsune Saiguu… I've grown up."]
[Kaedehara Kazuha: "Your wish… will someday be fulfilled."]
[Zhongli: "I long to share wine beneath the osmanthus again… but tell me, when will old friends return?"]
[Venti lowered his head as well, lost in his memories.]
The video shifted into black and white.
In the scene, Navia arrived at the cemetery with Myles and Sylph.
Myles: "Everything looks so clean after the rain... even a cemetery. Standing at Lord Callas's grave, and somehow I'm thinking about having a glass of red wine."
Sylph: "Understandable. Not like the view is bad or anything."
Navia: "Isn't it the same for everyone? Whenever I visit Father, I always want to bring something—maybe even have a little picnic. He wouldn't be angry… right?"
Myles: "Don't worry, milady! There's no way the old master would be angry with you... But a cemetery really is just a home for people after they're gone. One way or another, everyone ends up here eventually."
Sylph turned to him. "Don't tell me you're thinking of picking out your plot early."
Myles laughed. "Haha, no need. When I die, I just hope the young lady will let me be buried next to the old master."
Navia: "What are you talking about?"
Myles: "I'm not joking. That way, when you come to visit your grandfather's grave, I can see you too—even if it's just in passing."
Sylph: "Sounds good to me. Then I'll take the other side of the old master."
Myles: "Leaving the young lady aside, we really were the old master's left and right hands, weren't we?"
Sylph: "I'd say we lived up to it."
Navia: "Hahaha—what are you two suddenly talking about? 'In passing,' seriously…"
