It's been a few days since his transgression started... Or is it?
What if someone was messing with him? To expose that, he marked his calendar everyday.
"Hmm, there's no changes..."
Knowing that there was nothing in his calendar, he stared at the ceiling of his room, a grandiose room to be exact.
He thought of the ways on how to survive this cruel world, with his trash character. A bastard who kept messing with people that he can't fuck with, in short, an ignorant person.
Despite that, he managed to have some countermeasures towards the upcoming events in the Arkansas Imperial Academy.
"Arkansas, huh? Maybe... I'll get some clues if I entered the Academy."
He wondered, however. He put those thoughts on the back of his mind. And for the meantime, he planned on his next moves.
"Let's think of the events that will happen and... my options first, if I even have one."
First, in the Arkansas Imperial Academy, he will encounter the two, the Main Protagonist, Jacques al Sundawn and the Heroine, Eleana Nightfallen, they were in the same class.
Those two are important characters in this game destined to fight the Chaos, and all the events that will happen between, including the difficulties of Episodes in the Nevestria. The Episodes refers to those main events storylines that happen in the story itself including the first one, where I am belong with. Episode One: The Beginning of the Counterattack.
"I didn't even know... if I could survive Episode One, shit..."
Episode One will emerge when the semester starts, with various entities and characters making their names known to the player themselves. This includes those minor villains, like me, neutral people and the supporting casts that will help the MC in his journey toward the fight with the Chaos.
Episode One will introduce the first conflict of the Arkansas Empire that Jacques must face, the Social Inequality between nobles and commoners, which resulted in that 'famous accident' that included me.
For reference, there's a lot of Episodes in the story of Nevestria, The First Episode, is literally the start of the Story.
"Ahhh, and... also, those children..."
Second, there was the story of the Five Damnations, the destined villains that aim to destroy this world, and they fought with the Protagonist. They are the avatars of the Outer Gods from Another World.
These people will appear after the Continental War, and will surely erase ninety-percent of the population in Nevestria. That's why I have to avoid that fate, and make sure that I manage... to save those children before they turn into Damnations, or before they turn into avatars.
Due to one definite reason, if those Outer Gods emerged in the Arkansas Empire, I will die, one-hundred percent with no escape.
"Damn..."
Third, the Continental War, it was after the Third Year of the Academy, an extremely significant event happened. Dorotheo Arkansas, the King of Arkansas Empire was assassinated, leading to the Empire launching war in finding the culprit of the event, which led to a Continental War.
It was also said to be in the dark times, that even the most prominent people in the Arkansas Continent were afraid of being labeled as contributors in that assassination, it means guaranteed death.
Even the various races of other continents hid in this dark times, as they might be mistaken to be the culprits of this event. It might also lead to a Racial War between Races.
"Shit..."
Lastly, the Fallout of the Universe, it meant that the Chaos emerged completely from the void, all the monsters that the rankers fought in the dungeons and gates, made their way on the continent, leading to an extinction event crisis for the Humanity and all other races.
"I will die if this happens... one-hundred percent, again..."
Shit, all of those events that he thought of, was a death sentence to him, if he made even the slightest wrong move, he will die.
It was guaranteed, and that's really a fucked-up situation.
"But for now, let's focus on good things in hand, what was my goal in this game, that will give me the drive to live, just for another day...?"
It was the first thing that comes into his mind, the drive to live, if not, he will just take his life and suicide. He had nothing to lose afterall.
'Simple, I want to live a simple noble life, where I can eat and sleep whenever I want. A grand goal for someone like me, that worked as a bullied corporate drone, experienced a lot in his 9-5 job, and was always alone in life.'
'It was my dream life. I dreamt of being able to buy things that I wanted, even with a little bit of selfishness, because I have nothing before. I was living paycheck to paycheck. '
'And I have no one in that world, my parents died when I was young, and I was raised in an orphanage that I can't even remember the name of. I was always alone, and introverted, and avoided talking to people, and even bullied. Maybe, just maybe, if I live in this world, I can finally associate myself with other people, even if they're just game characters. I longed for human connections afterall, even if it's just artificial, I'll take anything at this point.'
'I soothed my loneliness, and pain through playing games, and that's when I learned about the difficulty of Nevestria, notorious on many blog posts as one of the most difficult games in the world, I was immediately hooked when I played it, and I grinded, and pushed myself to finish the game.'
'And then, I found myself here. At first, I was afraid, really afraid of death. But as day passed by, my anxiousness slowly subsided, and I managed to think of plans that will probably save me.'
Here's my solution to these problems, that will give me a chance to survive in this world.
First, I will completely avoid the protagonist and his woman. I will completely ignore them, and focus on my own stuff, like planning to save those children from their horrible fate.
Second, I'll also focus on getting 'that'. It will increase my mana power, even for a little bit. A little bit of power might save me from crucial situations.
Third, I will also build a concealed hideout with various enhancements and survival kits, before the Continental War even happens. I'll be able to hide and live safe in that hideout.
"I already have... planned the place."
But that's it... if I survive the Episode One.
"System..."
I already know the 'code words' needed to make this thing appear.
And as I thought of those words, I immediately saw a typical panel of a character in a game, just like what i see on my cellphone before when I'm playing this game, Nevestria.
However, there's a huge fucking problem....
